The rooms are lovely, expect the beds definitely need an upgrade. If you're booking room 1 the smoke alarm will go off when you shower because the bathroom and bedroom is all open plan. And the jacuzzi bath does not work. This is not about the staff or the place but about the guests who leave their trash in the parking lot of the property or in and around the pool. We took out a few cigarette buds from the pool this weekend. You're an adult PLEASE DON'T LITTER, it's disgusting. And gives the property a bad look.

My partner and I enjoy our stay at Lazy Lizard and are frequent visitors. We enjoy the pool area and shady cover. It's our go to accommodation when we need to be in Bloem. Staff are friendly and always willing to help.

The bed/mattress was completely worn out, so you'd sink into the middle of the bed, which resulted in really uncomfortable sleep.

The place is beautiful, I loved the dark finish in the room. Great shower and lovely room.

The duvet covers were smaller than the inners. The shower head fell off when you turned the shower on so you had to hold it in your hand the whole time.

The breakfast was excellent and the property was good. I was not impressed with the toilet as it was too close to the bed and doesn't have a window. No microwave in the room

The rooms didn't have microwave and the toilet doesn't have privacy, I think it's too closed to the bedroom that one have no privacy. Your television only played SABC channels only. Your staff was friendly except one lady in reception

Bed in room 1 after extending our stay

The room and service was okay... Very welcoming staff but after extending my stay the bed in room one wasn't in good condition not comfortable at all my partner and I ended up sleeping on the floor

There were no coffee satchets in the room. The mini fridges are a bit of an inconvenience as they have limited space.

There were no forks or spoons, in the drawers, to eat take-away food. The kitchen is not suitable to make your own food, only tea and coffee. Nice central location but very noisy! LL Guests had a party on our first night there, till very late, with small children screaming and shouting over and above the music and partying. During the weekend, the neighbours had parties every night, sometimes till 3am. We booked a bigger, more expensive room, hoping for a proper bed, but my son still had to sleep on a sleeper coach which was not very comfy.

Friendly staff, nice spacious room with separate kitchenette, fridge and microwave and stove. Nice breakfast but a bit expensive. Very close to all the places we needed to be at.

It's quiet, and perfect place for a stop over traveling long distance. The staff were very accommodating given our late check in.

The lady at reception was very friendly and overall I loved the facility. Room very clean and spacious. The outside garden is very nice as well. Only slept for 1 night but will definitely book this place whenever I come past Bloemfontein.
