The fish pond with beautiful fish and clean pool, Tumi was very warm, understanding and checking all clients if they are comfortable. There and old lady forgot her name oh my God her service was amazing they are both assets of this place.

I like everything about Muckleneuk Manor. It is one of very very few guesthouses with real, genuine character. Friendly staff, comfy bed and great showers. Add the great location and you can't ask for more.

Parking is a bit tight. Bedding has a few stains.

We had two rooms, and one was without A/C (read heating)

The staff manager Ingrid was just fantastic. Whem mailing her one day in advance to have a township visit, she organised a visit to her previous township. This was so cool, interesting, especially the things we would never have seen with a tourist organisation. Thank you so much Ingrid. We ❤️ you! Also the manor was a fantastic house with several different rooms, cosy and very nice.

I didn’t like that there were no souvenir or personal branded items from the Manor to take home to remind me of my stay. Such items have a way of triggering a longing to return and as a show off to friends and family. I think the sofas are a sinking and could be propped up for guest sitting comfort and posture.

I didn’t try out breakfast in my short stay, but I smelt deliciousness that filtered out of the kitchen. On my way to the pool side and aqaurium.The location was strategic. Oh, I must add that I got my regularly jug of milk in the mornings. I loved how tamed the house dog was throughout my stay. I loved the sense of freedom the Manor offered. You come in when you want. No curfew. The staff led by Lily Simelane were helpful in helping me settle in quickly. I loved the hot baths to shake off the wintery chill in the early mornings and evenings.

Just what I needed! I miss the garden. Having breakfast in the garden in the mornings was one of my highlights. The ladies were so good to me. Lilly,the hostess is just lovely. I really felt safe and at home. I would have loved to cancel everything and stay longer!
