Very good stay, the outdoors are great and very immersive. It was our first day in Kruger and it felt like an adventure with the wooden bridge and tent. 5 min drive from Kruger gate so it was very convenient. Good food and room

They kept giving us expired sparkling water and it had no bubbles at all. And when you raise it, no one even acts confused because they know. Why not just remove all the expired products instead of trying to slide it past us :/

We booked the family chalet which is a little far off from amenities and needs some updating but otherwise clean and comfortable. Would recommend to book the regular rooms instead

The staff were extremely helpful. The resort is beautiful as well. The meals - breakfast and dinner was tasty with lots of variety. We booked our safari excursions with them as well, they are very organized and efficient. Can say enough about our guide Enoch. He is excellent and very knowledgeable.

Fantastic experience from first minute. Staff is present everywhere and quick to assist you. The common areas are amazingly designed and well fitted in the forrest. There are animals casually walking around. Lastly, the dinner and breakfast was an experience by itself.

Some of the staff at dinner were not so attentive, however those at the food stations were very friendly and helpful. There's very little not to like about the hotel.

The food was really amazing, lots of choices for both breakfast and dinner-my kids really loved the waffle stations at breakfast and the smores and toasted marshmallow stations at dinner. The pool area overlooking the watering hole is a superb space to unwind. The rooms were really nice and clean-I would visit this hotel again and again. The activities (e.g. basketball) were a favourite.

This is an amazing hotel in all aspects. Very African feel and decor with luxurious touches. Room was fabulous, bed very comfortable. Staff very attentive. Food excellent. Infinity pool overlooking Sabie River was a definite highlight!

Bit of a complaint: R 5000 per night (by this time approximatly 260 €), and that's a Black Friday price, is really a lot of money, despite of this great dinner buffet. Other locations around Kruger can do that for much less, at the expense of such a position right next to a park gate.

Always in best memory: Dinner buffet & breakfast buffet. Especially Lapa, the dinner restaurant, was wonderful, including a music/dance-program by performers from a neighbour village. Pure Africa-feeling made by long wooden walkways, friendly staff, huge guest areas and game view due to location right at Sabie River, bridge to Paul Kruger Gate. Too many choices and variety, spread over too many tables. the heat made all the cheese look melted at breakfast. Dinner again just too much, quite unnecessary for so many choices. Rather do fewer really good well cooked quality food. Steaks dry from resting too long. Lamb chops were tough. Certainly enough other choices. Price of game drive's too high. Being outside the park costs too much for people like us going in and out of the park with our own car. Please arrange shorter trips. 6 hours is just too long for some of us. Discuss some arrangement with San Parks to give a special pass for the 3 or 4 days stay.

Pool area lovely but too small and not enough room and not enough pool loungers overlooking the river. The other pool was great and quiet but no view. Staff were great. Reception efficient and organised. Room amenities were good and very comfortable. Aircon fabulous. Bed, linen, towels all good quality. Slept like a baby. Lovely shop fully stocked, and friendly helpful lady working there.

I didn’t not like people be loud in the areas where there are signs saying it’s a quiet zone.

The locations along with the vibes were excellent. The staff were extremely helpful and kind. The food for breakfast and dinner was amazing, Overall glad I stayed here and got to see a bunch of animals from the hotel as well as feel safe as a solo traveler.

I booked a safari online with SAN Parks, and the driver was late with the safari starting an hour late. Also, the driver bullied a large male elephant off the road.

The safari style of the hotel was impressive and the staff were very friendly and efficient 👍

Shower facilities are not environmentally friendly. They are still providing small bottles of shampoo and shower gel. Housekeeping did not replenish towels after housekeeping though we indicated for a change. Waited another 4 hours before fresh towels were brought

This absolutely stunning property right on the banks of the river and minutes away from Kruger Gate offered everything that we expected from it. Excellent ambience, hospitality, location, food, views, facilities, everything thing was spot on. Loved every minute of being there. Will highly recommend.

The air conditioning unit dripped water on the floor. The walk to my room was far.

The location was impeccable. Nestled along the banks of the Sabie River, I was treated to a breathtaking spectacle of elephants gracefully crossing the water, while hippos playfully splashed in and out. The hotel’s proximity to Kruger Gate made it an ideal spot for an early game drive, ensuring a seamless experience. I was fortunate enough to spot all the big five and the ugly five during my visit. The room I stayed in was newly built and exceptionally comfortable. On the other hand, the hotel itself appears to be older. The food was decent and they offered some gluten free options.
