Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kruger Gate Hotel. Staff were friendly, the food was great and it was easy and convenient to organise safaris directly through the hotel. Would highly recommend.

This hotel was nothing short of marvelous. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality, the rooms were superb and our meals were always delicious. The real highlight was the breathtaking view from the lookout pool. During our stay, we saw hippos, hyenas, and 3 leopards in the distance.

- There is no mosquito net above the bed, and if you don't want to sleep with a/c or a fan, it doesn't feel so "safe." - Staff friendliness was mixed, some very friendly, others completely unbothered. - If you go on a morning game drive, you get a breakfast package, which really is not worth the money when you compare it to the on-site version. That's understandable because, of course, you can not take too many things on a game drive breakfast. Nevertheless, I felt the choices were quite sad, as it was all beige and heavily processed food apart from an apple. I think this could be improved.

Prime location to enter Kruger Park, literally across the river. The renovated rooms were nice, modern, clean, and very spacious. The whole hotel complex is very big, but it's nicely designed, e.g. the trees are beautifully lit at night, there's a wooden bridge through a picturesque garden and a great view into Kruger Park. The choices for dinner were immense, and the food itself was tasty. Onsite breakfast was also great.

Second time in Kruger Gate Hotel. And second time amazing experience here. Staff, food, services are great. Location is undoubtedly the best outside the park.

checked us into a crap room on the bottom floor then offered us an upgrade. Huge hotel will 400+ rooms. wasn't crowded when we were there, but it would not be as nice if it was full

The only slight criticism is that one can hear everything and everyone outside the room.

My only complaint was that our shower didn’t drain well, so it filled up with water very quickly while showering. And the toilets by the swimming area weren’t very clean and didn’t flush.

The location was amazing - walking distance from the gate! Food was delicious, staff were so friendly and helpful, and the views were great (we spotted a leopard from the viewing platforms!)

Didn’t state anywhere during booking that it was required to arrange a transfer from the airport, as this is the only option and needs to be arranged separately.

Some rooms can be dark and damp if you are I the wrong location. It's a.massive hotel and u can easily get lost.

We.loved the massive buffet at the dînner (brilliant!) and the bar and Café. Excellent gym and cool elevated walkways.

too many rooms on the place. The place is huge. For somebody who does not want to be with too many tourists around him, it is the wrong place, just to keep this in mind. Buffet food was not so good.

location directly next to the park, very good view on the Sabie river, you can see some animals directly from the pool, friendly staff, Safari Service was very good

The hotel is a few minutes outside Paul Kruger Gate with great view over the river from the bar and pool dock. The rooms are immaculate and beds and bedding superb. Quality and choice of food at the dinner and breakfast buffets was excellent. The service throughout was the hotel was a masterclass in professionalism. Will definitely be back.

The food was out of this world, everyday had a different spread of choice in meals. The facilities are well maintained and so so beautiful. Loved ALL the staff, so helpful and kind.
