More organised kitchen with plates etc.

Although some of the facilities are very basic, we loved the staff. Manageress Cheryl and her team were marvellous and made our stay one of the best we had while travelling around South Africa.

The room is inside the main house where it’s shared with family that permanently resides there,we would have to knock on the main door to gain entry into the house whenever we came back from where we went. No TV in the room,lights not working in the bedroom. There’s just so much that needs to be fixed

The location of the property was perfect,it was in a quiet area not too far from cbd.

Plates and utensils were not available in the rooms and we were not provided with gate keys. Going in and out of the place was a hustle. The staff was not friendly at all and when we asked for assistance it seemed like they were not happy to assist. The aircondition could not be warm and we charged our phones far. We showered with cold water on our last day and no one explained anything to us.

Getting hold of the accommodation before arriving was a nightmare; Left a message which was not returned. called more than three times on different days and the phone was unanswered. Thus failed to make special arrangements with the facility.

Checking in and checking out was very unclear and awkward. There was no clear indicated parking place when you get inside - needed to be explained. When we left we put the key into a box that was very dirty covered in spider webs. There was no door on the bathroom, just a corner you can't see around. Other people before had left stuff behind that was not cleared out - shower sponge, deoderant bottles. . Under the beds was not cleaned out. We where not given a key to the back door. Was a coffee station in the room but no kettle to make hot water.

The location suited our needs quite well. Beds where comfy. 2 out of 3 staff members very helpful (the lady who arranged to get the key + the guy who came to give us the WiFi password)

1. The attic has been turned into a room so there isn't space to move as 45% is taken up by the roof it's even worse when you're taller than 1.55m. 2. The sink is said to be leaking as such tis out of use. The tea & sugar canisters aren't refilled, there's no coffee or milk provided 3. The shower door is loose on the one end & the drain is blocked 🚫, as soon as I started running the water filth started coming out. Upon raising concerns I was told that "the available rooms are too expensive" eventually I was offered an alternative room however it had no bathroom I'd have to use the general bathroom - not so private...I declined, then I was told to only use the bathroom of another room - the ceiling was dripping water, the shower us too small 4. Speakers are placed along the staircase & there individuals watching tv, I could barely hear myself think

We had to pass into other visitor's room before getting into ours.we were not informed.

We booked for selfcatering..all the equipments were there,we didn't suffer at all..clean house,comfortable beds,everything was excellent♥️♥️♥️friendly and helpful staff..we would go back in a future..
