    I like Lorraine she made us feel comfortable and she is very friendly and she always make sure that she assist when ever we need help

    Upon my arrival, I called the caretaker, Lorraine, to confirm that everything was in order, and she assured me that everything was fine. However, upon arrival, I discovered there was no running water on the property. Lorraine provided me with a 2-liter bucket of water, which was insufficient for a two-night stay. Although she assured me that water would be restored the following day, it was only returned in the afternoon, causing significant inconvenience. Furthermore, when I contacted Lorraine in January to inquire about room availability, she reacted aggressively and told me that I had left the room dirty during my previous stay. She claimed she had to purchase cleaning supplies at my expense and demanded R600 for cleaning before I could stay in the room again. This accusation was both uncalled for and misleading, as during my previous stay, I found that the room was never cleaned once in the three days I was there, and I had to purchase my own toilet paper and toiletries. Lorraine also mentioned that the sheets were dirty, despite my stay being only two nights. As a guest, I found this expectation unreasonable, especially since no cleaning services were provided during my time there. I felt her behavior was not only rude but also unprofessional, as it appeared she was attempting to unfairly place the blame on me for issues that were beyond my control. Due to the way I was treated, I felt compelled to end the call abruptly. I deeply regret having booked and stayed at your property under these circumstances, and I am extremely disappointed with the lack of proper service and communication. I respectfully request that you investigate this matter further and take appropriate action. I would also appreciate a resolution regarding the unreasonable charges imposed by Lorraine. I trust that future guests will not face similar issues if the necessary improvements are made. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response.

    I didn't like the fact the lounge was a communal lounge. it wasn't stated on the site. the kettle was leaking and placed in a plate full of water. the helper, said that it was perfectly "safe" (I felt nothing about that was safe). as Hosts of an air bnb you should prepare in ADVANCE for any inconvenience, putting up a JOJO Tank the day the water got cut, was a major inconvenience to us. we were there for a concert. had we known in advance, we would have picked a better place to stay at. not having proper equipment to bath, like a stool, a bucket and something to pour the water with over your body, was another inconvenience because we had to squat in the tub and find a container from the kitchen to pour the water over our bodies. and only one towel for 3 days??? unhygienic! We had no remote to enter and exist the property because other guests were given remotes. how does that work? theres no AC! We died with the heat. we were given a fan but it was so far away due to one plug point away from us. This place is not prepared to host guests and I most definitely will not be going back there. spending R1700 for a one bedroom felt like a scam with none of the utilities being properly accessible

    Despite the water crisis, which I understood because it was beyond your control, i did experience some issues with the room. Unfortunately there were cockroaches and ants present. I would appreciate it if you could address this pest control issue.

    Cleanless

    The rooms where smelling paint, there was. Cat which was getting inside the room. Whenever we going out when we call the receptionist to open for us,but she was not oucking up.

    First there was a cat which I believe they should have advised of such when booking secondly the room was freshly painted we did not sleep as we could smell the paint , third the rooms are facing the gate which is in the street you can hear when the gate is being opened which affected our slept The bathroom door does not close when you inside.

    The owner's decided it would be a good idea to paint the inside while guests were there. Terrible paint smell throughout the house and it was very difficult to sleep. They should have painted when no guests were booked. Very inconsiderate. Will not return. Also there was a rat in the kitchen, after seeing it, I refused to use any of the utilities in the kitchen.

    Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

    Place is hard to find, with no name board indicating the property's name. Cancellation made upon arrival due to inaccurate photographs. Contact numbers not sufficient and no joy with any help or assistance from the property's side.

    I was disappointed to learn that they only clean rooms at the guest's request. Normally, that is a standard procedure and guests only indicate when they do not want their rooms to be cleaned, however, we were only notified of this reverse policy when we came back from the event we were attending. I would recommend that they re-look into this policy, otherwise the property is perfect.

    I liked that they were able to offer us alternative accommodation in another branch nearby where we originally booked since the whole neighborhood had a challenge with electricity

    It was not that clean, there were cocoroaches, no soap and lotion is provided, tv is not working sometimes, and wifi connection is very poor
