We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

South AfricaWhen we made our booking on Bookings.com, we were informed that our room would have 2 double beds and 1 single bed to accommodate three adults and two children. However, upon arrival, we discovered that our room only had 2 double beds. The beds were noisy, and the internet was slow, making it difficult to use. Despite being advertised as having WiFi, it was unreliable. The room itself was in poor condition with broken and outdated amenities. We were disappointed that we paid for something that did not meet our expectations. Additionally, the kitchen was dirty, and there were not enough cups provided for making coffee. We arrived in the afternoon, but our experience was disappointing. We urge Bookings.com to remove this unit from their listings to prevent any further disappointment for future guests. It's worth noting that the toilet seat was broken and did not fit properly on the bowl, and there was only half a roll of toilet paper available for our use. I only wish I had taken pictures of evidence of the run-down room. I am disappointed to inform you that the accommodation provided did not meet the specifications and expectations outlined during the booking process, and I would like to request a refund for the unsatisfactory experience.

South AfricaRoom not cleaned in a long time. Moved the bed to get my phone and there was a condom behind the bed. It is still there. Cockroaches in the room as well. Very noisy way past 22:00 in the evening. Alot of noise in the ceiling at night.

South AfricaWhen i got there everything was good However after 2-3 hours of my stay the security came to my room and told me that he gave me the wrong room and someone booked it so I have to change rooms being an understanding person i moved to the other room After 15 mins of moving to the next room he came back and told me that i have to move back to the same room because he made a mistake the room they want is the room i was currently inn I think that was extremely unprofessional and annoying I disincline to acquiesce to such childish behaviour I am very disappointed with how I was treated Be that as it may I went back to my original room I don’t think I’ll ever go back to the hide in Kilburn very unprofessional

Soap dish in the shower was on the floor and shower curtains/ not a door. Room had a very cheap dingy look. on booking.com is was described as deluxe? definitely not

South AfricaSome of the rooms are not finished in terms bathrooms, there is no soap dish, no towel rack, no curtains in the bath since windows are not frosted. Last but not least worst of all we had to buy insecticides because one of the room was infested by cockroaches. Need pets control.
