United KingdomWe never quite managed to get the Jacuzzi to a temperature that was right.. in spite of two visits from maintenance.. probably would be ok if we stayed more than one night or it was turned on for arrival.
Hotel is fantastic especially if you have a days layover before flying to Kruger, as we did and have time to enjoy the facilites. The quality of the rooms are out of this world and very good value for what you pay (though I am comparing to UK prices) The restaurants offer a very good selection of food and are again good value. Would definitely use this hotel again and recommend wholeheartedly to other prospective guests.

United KingdomIt would have been good if ALL penthouses and rooms had door bells. The number of times other family guests could not be heard knocking when we were in the front room or on the terrace upstairs. A full length mirror in the wardrobe doors would be great PLUS bedside lamp that are isolated from other bright lightings. These are ALL minor things and did not dampen our stay in anyway. Just things that could improve experiences and noted because we were a wedding group of around 60 in the same hotel.
The penthouse we booked exceeded our expectations. The staff were pleasant and always willing to help. Breakfast was excellent and more options than expected.

NetherlandsOverall, we had a great stay – the room was clean, staff were friendly, and the location was perfect. However, we had to leave early in the morning (at 06:20), and unfortunately breakfast only started at 06:30. At check-in we were told there were no options, but when I asked at the restaurant, someone mentioned room service could provide something. I even asked if I could pre-order oats to keep in the fridge. However, when I called room service at 05:40h, it turned out nothing was available after all. It would have been great if the information had been consistent, and even a small takeaway bag with a banana and croissant would have made a big difference.

AustraliaThe only slight disappointment was a bit of a miscommunication regarding a tour we booked to visit the Apartheid Museum in town. We thought we were paying for the return trip there, plus admission, and a tour, however it was just the return shuttle which was a bit of a shame. But no fault of the staff, just poorly explained in the leaflet.
This was by far the best hotel I've ever stayed in. The staff were ALL absolutely lovely, helpful, friendly and attentive. Our room and every single space we visited were all spotless. The breakfast was delicious and the lunch/dinner menus had plenty of variety (although I did order the prawn linguini twice because it was so good). Modern pools, great gym, lovely spa. We will definitely stay here again. It is a short Uber ride away from town, main attractions, and about 20 minutes from the airport. There is underground parking available but we didn't need it. There's a lovely walking track around the golf course. Can't rate this place highly enough.
