Die Vishuis is easily one of our best stays. The space, decor and attention to detail make it a very special place.

Would have been nice to have a microwave to warm your food. I'm not a fan of the towels, but it was very clean. The blinds do not block out the light from outside at night.

Conveniently close to town and the shops and restaurants are within walking distance. It was very quiet, and the unit was spacious. You can watch TV through loadshedding, and the fireplaces are a nice addition for winter.

There was nothing to dislike, there is an element of overlooking in the courtyard which could affect privacy

Breakfast was not available but there are plenty of coffee shops within a short walk. The facilities were fine for a short stay and for longer stays, I would suggest you book Fishermans Cottage which offers the best accommodation. The bonus was the host Marc, extremely helpful and friendly. The location is good within a 5-minute walk you are in the hub of Hermanus. Take a short trip to Grotto beach and enjoy lunch there

Perfect location and accommodation in Hermanus. Marc was an excellent and most helpful host; nothing was too much trouble for him from our arrival to our departure. Our room was comfortable, spacious, and very well equipped - ideal for our break. Thanks Marc, great to meet you, and we hope to return one day! 🐳

Absolutely nothing

This is a phenomenal base from which to explore Hermanus and the wider local. Marc was incredibly helpful and is a wealth of experience on all things Hermanus! The accomodation was immaculate and so cosy. I would love to return in winter and light up the stove after a days whale watching. Absolutely a must for your stay in Hermanus!

We received a very warm and punctual welcome from Marc. He gave us a thorough rundown of the facilities and the area. • Lights, TV, hot water all work through loadshedding (not that you need a TV with so much to do) • Complimentary coffee and tea • Rooms are spacious and incredibly comfortable • Bed is so comfortable I didn't want to leave • Location is absolutely prime, walking distance to most restaurants and old harbour • Facilities are very clean • Onsite parking • Bathroom has a walk in shower, clean and comfortable
