The decks are very slippery in the rain and a worry for older people travelling and less mobile.. perhaps some grit is needed on the wood to make it less slippery

No air conditioner or fan. We had to close shutters and hence the view if anyone was out by the swimming pool as they could see in the room. The drive in was a tricky small lane around the edge of Monkeyworld

My wife had a good massage. Hotel staff were very pleasant. location and view were amazing across the treetops. Hotel had a nice friendly atmosphere.

The pool was not heated and was very cold so couldn’t make use of it until just before check out when the sun hit it for a while.

Coffee wasn't that great (but I'm a bit picky with my coffee). Would have loved a glass of wine but could only buy a bottle. Gin was out of stock. WiFi was spotty.

Location was gorgeous, staff was professional and friendly, dinner was delicious (lamb chops), spa massage was really high quality, bed was large and comfortable, bathroom was large and had a nice view into the firest, outdoor furniture was large and very comfortable. I really enjoyed it there!

If you are scared of insects and creatures you might have to consider another place. We loved this as part of the experience ;).

Staying amongst the trees and the sounds of birds and monkeys at Trogon is truly special. We liked that we could have dinner at Trogon as we wouldnt want to drive at night. Dinner was good and very cozy. All staff was incredibly friendly!

What an amazing location with a fantastic view and pool in a tree house. It was magical to spend breakfast and dinner overlooking the forest in search of wildlife. Beautiful rooms with attentive staff!

Nothing!

There was nothing not to like about Trogon House. The staff were amazing - particularly Wonderful, who was so attentive, and Bruce who cooked us amazing meals. The location can't be beat either, it's beautiful. Probably the first time I've truly relaxed in a year. We've already booked to go back.

They don't have blinds in the room we stayed in - which can be a good or bad thing depending on your sense of adventure

A hidden gem! The drive up is extremely misleading, this is a true secluded jungle experience with open 360 views from the room. We booked a spa experience which was private and romantic. All meals we had in house were delicious, and they catered for Vegetarian dietary requirements. A great location in the heart of the Garden Route!

I can't speak highly enough about this place! It started before we even arrived with a lovely pre-welcome message and helpful video on getting to the venue. The staff are amazing, so friendly & helpful. We had the Spa experience which was exceptional. The food was excellent. Honestly, there is not one even remotely negative thing to say about Trogon House. If you get a chance to stay here, take it... and go and see the Elephants & Monkeys next door - also amazing!! 🤩🤩🤩

Bed was too hard for our liking and the track to the property is single track and rather rough in places

Fantastic location, clean, good food, room was beautiful. Staff were all friendly and food for breakfast and evening meal was good. Setting was outstanding. We used the spa facilities and the massage and food and facilities were very good.

Very beautiful, luxurious tree house with great views, perfect beds, We had a room in the main house, which was absolutely great. The food is beyond expectations, - breakfast and lovely dinner. The people working there are all very nice!

The standard room is next to the general area and it can be a bit noisy. The road to the location can be a bit challenging for normal car.

Very beautiful location in the bush with nice view on a bit remote location.. A luxury lodge with nice rooms. Very helpful personal. They offer beside breakfast also dinner options.
