I loved everything about the property, luxurious and quiet. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing. The peace and quietness, everything was just a 10/10.

I traveled during February which is a pretty decent time. Weather is really nice during the day with average temps in the mid to late 70's. However, the night time temp drops to about mid to early 60's so I was hoping the hotel pool would be heated. lol I was informed that it was not so unfortunately I was not able to swim in the beautiful pool. I was very nice to look at in the night time.

Location was convenient for rideshare. Hotel was guarded and secure. Breakfast was delightful but wish it was offered at a specific time. Had to leave my room and wait for breakfast. Also, ate breakfast alone which was okay but it left much to be desired considering I was looking forward to meeting some of the other hotel residents and travelers.

I think the entire structure at the gate needs some renovation it looks great on the picture than live 🙏🏿

A true petite private resort, love it. Rooms are modern, clean and cozy decorated. Service is nice and personal. The owner is very helpfull and really looks after you with any questions you have.

My husband and I loved everything about the hotel, all staff members are very friendly and welcoming, the welcome drinks we didn't even expect was a bonus, how the owner Mr Ndaba interact with his guests made us feel at home, the place is very clean, and rooms are luxury and eloquent, pictures on booking.com didn't do justice about the beauty of that place, very classy I will rate it 5 star hotel. The garden view during the day and the lighting at night was amazing, the dining near the pool and bar was a very relaxing place and we could go sit there and do some of our work peacefully, breakfast was well presented and delicious.I fell in love with the fishes on a fish pond, the experience to see colorful fishes play was amazing for me. The place gave us value for our money and we would really love to visit this place again very soon

We had the most wonderful stay at 24 on Basil Boutique Hotel last weekend! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the security team with a refreshing cold towel and a welcome drink—such a thoughtful touch. Check-in was seamless, and the manager was incredibly friendly and attentive. To our delight, we even received an upgrade, which we truly appreciated! The rooms were beautifully appointed, featuring a cozy living area, a well-equipped small kitchen, and a spacious bathroom with both a bath and shower. The towels were excellent, and every detail was well thought out. On our first night, we enjoyed drinks by the pool, which was absolutely lovely. The manager even popped around for a chat—he is extremely hospitable and made us feel right at home. While we didn’t have breakfast due to our own plans, we noticed the pool was sparkling clean, and the bar area was impeccably maintained. The entire team went above and beyond to ensure a fantastic stay—nothing was too much trouble. This hotel is exceptional value for money, and we will most definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

My room could have done with slightly better pillows, a gown and slippers, as I mostly find in the boutique hotels. Other than that, I would definitely recommend 24 on Basil to anyone visiting the Randburg area.

I loved the whole experience, especially the welcome drink I received! I also loved that I was welcomed by the owner himself, who actually allowed me to come in early and work from the lovely garden while my room was being prepared. The staff (Maureen) was amazing, very welcoming and made me a very delicious breakfast 😋 The room was fully equipped with a VERY FANCY microwave and a VERY FANCY kettle, a VERY FANCY shower, plus also had a washing machine. I joked with my husband that I should have brought some laundry with me 🤣
