United KingdomRoom booked was not available on arrival as all were sold out. Given a room with a key stuck on the door they could not remove which meant anyone could open the door. Accepted the room since I was tired and arrived very late. The Jacuzzi was very unstable despite a small wooden wedge underneath meant to move?

South Africa-Bathing water was cold -My bath tub which is a reused jacuzzi is not flat inside and was uncomfortable to sit and bath/ shower -Free Wi-Fi though good mostly was only available at the reception area. Only the restaurant network was always working. It was impossible to work from one's room when needing to check the day's emails. My written request to the management for WI-FI access at my building was not responded to, at least courteously, to advise me on the challenges they faced

One needs to be hospitalable Front lady said she did not find my booking although booking.com and confirmed, I was worried for a moment there but at least rooms were available, imagine if they were full and I had trusted booking.com I booked for a day first, when I was somewhat satisfied I booked another day, then boom, front office lady refused to give me mere drinking water in the room, she says they only give on first day of booking, after that if you book extra days u buy water. Like seriously. As if on second day I paid any lesser, I bet if I ddnt have any loose money I would fainted of thirst. For that reason I booked out and sought another hotel . Like seriously, it's just water after all. The toilet got clocked on my second day, worst experience

Ugandasockets only one was working . the kettle was coated by calcium which is health risk, water in the bathroom took long to \come more so in the morning, serving of pork , workers were insensitive lacked customer care , need training. Brian the driver fleecing us as new comers didnot know about the yangoos. so he overcharged us for trips in town by at times 3 to 4 times had we used a yangoo payment of lunch or dinner immediately after the meal - when the customer is not informed from the beginning, made me mad. wondered why i donont pay this at the time im paying the accommodation bill. a waiter asking me to pay after eating and telling it is the rule, that is not displayed anywhere , was so rulde

Zambia-Mattress was foam so not very comfortable -There was water leaking onto the floor from the sink. Couldn't figure out where from exactly but it was a little nasty - There were cockroaches in the bathroom and around the bar fridge - Although the building is new (and not completely finished), the furniture is old and needs updating -My room had a balcony but I had no access to it. The outside door was locked; however, through the window, I noticed that the balcony had no railing and looked unfinished (untiled, etc) -There was a strong unpleasant odour in the bed which I struggled to locate (didn't know whether it was coming from the headboard, the underblanket or the mattress) -Only soap in the room (no lotion or any other toiletries provided) -Breakfast was passable. Certainly not exceptional
-Large, spacious room -Looked clean -Bar fridge in room -Friendly staff (fast tracked my check in as I arrived around 2am) -Satellite TV in the room (3 channels) -Aircon in the room (never used it though)

ZambiaThe toilet of the room we were given was just pathetic. The toilet seat was broken and would block when used. The parking space is very restrictive. It's not as ample as mentioned. It's only convenient to come by taxi so you don't go through the hustle of having to move your car any time a new guest comes in. The guests are not asked to maintain silence in the hallways. We were probably just unlucky as there was a football team that kept us up for most of the night with noise. Banging doors, just shouting in the hallways and chatting. It would help if the staff would remind their guests to stay quiet I the hallways for the convenience of the other guests. The other issue is to do with the use of space inside. The hotel could do well to plan out the interior and possibly upgrade their decor. That wall sticker needs to be impeccably placed. It was looking haphazard. The drainage pipes can also be improved.
The restaurant was great. The food was excellent. The staff were lovely and quite helpful. Their service was amazing.

IndiaThe water pump broke down the morning I arrived, and a GH full of guests, trying to get ready for the opening day of an important conference were all scrambling. While this was sorted, it was highly inconvenient for guests--most of whom had to go out for work without showering.
Location ideal for my specific work this time. Very near to the Mulungushi ICC, which was my place of work during this visit.
