The Riad is ideally situated, with all attractions within walking distance.
Our room was somewhat dim and chilly (although the AC worked hard to warm it).
The shower provided warm water, though the water pressure was weak.
The dinner was superb, yet quite expensive.
Overall we had good experience.
Set within 47 km of Kasbah Amridil and 25 km of Ksar Ait-Ben-Haddou, Kasbah Tamsna offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Ouarzazate. The property features pool and garden views....

Breakfast was superb, fresh and very rich. Thank you for hosting and making us feel welcome! This is an authentic riad, furniture is traditional and the place is cozy. Terrace is so nice!
Experience Morocco in style with a Riad, a luxurious house or palace with an interior garden or courtyard. Riads can often accommodate large numbers of people, and have a swimming pool and wellness facilities (hammam), making it the glamorous way to holiday as a group.
Amazing view over the Kasbah; very friendly owner; good food; very nice ambience; beautiful fountain in the courtyard, where it stands a tree which in the morning become the meeting place of hundreds of birds who can wake you up in nature
The view from the hotel rooftop was great, and its proximity to the main road was convenient. The family room was quite cramped, but considering the price, it wasn't too bad. Additionally, the breakfast, cooked in traditional Moroccan style, felt genuinely prepared with care.
We visited a few riads during our trip in Morocco, but that was the best.
Great owners - a family that takes care of every detail to make guests feel special, they were very kind.
Rooms are clean and cozy, in traditional Moroccan style.
Food was great - eating breakfast on the terrace during sunrise was a magical experience.
You must stay there if you want feel real Morocco.
Warm wishes to the owners.
I hope return there.
Riad designed in traditional style - very beautifully decorated. Large, comfortable communal sitting area in the middle of Riad. Lovely outside terraces to savour the views and watch the stars which were magnificent because of the darkness of the location. Room was comfortable and nice breakfast. Heater in bathroom which was a bonus in the cold morning. Away from noise and hustle and bustle of town.
Dar Mouna is a charming guest house converted from a historical family home. It is made from the traditional compressed mud construction, providing a unique lodging experience and insight into the history of the area. It is nicely decorated with local crafts, and the owners and staff are friendly and attentive. It has some of the best views of the Ait Benhaddou Kasbah across the river, and is a short walk (7-8 minutes) to the kasbah entrance. I enjoyed watching the sunrise and sunset over the old kasbah from the pool deck–absolutely stunning!
You feel welcomed at home by Mohammed and his staff. throughout your stay they will do their utmost to make your experience as pleasant as possible.
In our case that meant a surprise cake for all kids in the riad to celebrate New year!
The riad is located close to a historical kasbah and palmery, which provides a nice short walk from the riad.
We spent there only one night, but everything was great. We were even warmly welcomed with Moroccan tea, despite our late arrival. The guest house has a very charming dining room and courtyard, so it would be great for staying a bit longer and just enjoying the place. Rooms are simple, but clean and nice. As we wanted to leave very early the next morning, the receptionist offered to prepare a breakfast picnic for us the previous evening - this was very kind of him.
It's in a perfect location to visit Ait Ben Haddou and it's a privilege to stay in a traditional Moroccan kasbah within a UNESCO world heritage site. Dinner was very nice and the hosts were friendly.
