Lovely outside terraces to savour the views and watch the stars which were magnificent because of the darkness of the location. Room was comfortable and nice breakfast. It is made from the traditional compressed mud construction, providing a unique lodging experience and insight into the history of the area. It is nicely decorated with local crafts, and the owners and staff are friendly and attentive. It has some of the best views of the Ait Benhaddou Kasbah across the river, and is a short walk (7-8 minutes) to the kasbah entrance. In our case that meant a surprise cake for all kids in the riad to celebrate New year!
