This is an authentic Moroccan kasbah which has been lovingly restored.I enjoyed the 2 nights very much. The staff were excellent-I want to mention Mbarak who looked after check-in and served the meals, and Omar who carried my luggage to the bus station when I was leaving. The room was large and clean with excellent sleep quality. The food was superb. This is an authentic slice of Moroccan life and is definitely worth returning to....Top marks....10 out of 10.

A comfortable kasbah with good facilities but still having the traditional character. Very central location, very nice food, great views from the rooftop.

A very nice place with a very friendly staff. We had a mini Riad with a living room and a roof top terrace by our own! The view from the main building is beautiful. It even has a small private Berber museum! The food is very nice.

Wonderful ancient kashbah! It’s been the highlight of our trip in morocco, the hotel is stunning, big and tasteful rooms, generous and tasty breakfast, the view from the terrace, the cool breeze in the courtyard… and most of all the kindness of the hosts, who welcomed us as if we had just gotten home :) We also loved the athmosphere around the village, with its kashbas and peaceful palmeraie…Thanks for the amazing experience!

The ambience was calm. The young host was charming and the courtyard is a lovely place to sit. The bed was comfortable and the price good. Nkob is an interesting, quiet stop on the way to other places and we really enjoyed our shirt stay

auberge bassou offers an authentic feeling of a well managed Riad at the edge of the Maroccan desert and mountains, and Brahim will do everything to make our stay comfortable and unique, including a wonderful personal trip to ancient stone gravings and lonely offroad areas . The breakfast and dinner in the courtyard are wonderful, perfect and individual athmoshere

A very nice place to be, friendly and helpful people and staff. We loved it. We were there in the eastern vacation and practically alone in the Riad.

A fabulous stay in a traditional kasbah with stunning views from the rooftop. The dinner was the best we have had so far in Morocco - I recommend the chicken with a kind of pasta that looks like vermicelli - it was absolutely delicious. Younes is a tremendously personable guide and host, full of knowledge about the area and its history. I would recommend going out with him on any number of excursions!

Mohammad was warming, friendly and an amazing host. Nothing seemed to much trouble. He was extremely interesting to talk to and well travelled. The Riad was set back offthe main street and had a lovely tranquil and calming feel inside. The rooms were traditional and cosy. Thank you for an amazing stay. We booked last minute as on a cycling trip with a friend, and we left having made another
