Understated design elegance of the rooms; helpful staff and an amazing dinner/breakfast - we did splurge on the room and the dinner options and had the room with the hot tub/bath on the deck - it was lovely! Loved listening to the pounding surf.

Very friendly staff and their effort to use online instant translator to communicate with foreign guests is appreciated. Quick response to my question upon booking. The Japanese style guestroom I stayed in was big, clean, comfortable and enjoyed a panoramic seaview. Breakfast was great. The hotel enjoys a tranquil environment, but restaurants or shops are not within short walking distance, i.e. visiting there with a car will be better.

The room was very clean. Staff was really friendly especially the ladies in kimonos who explained everything in details from the use of facilities to the food that’s served to us. Onsen was soothing and relaxing. Would definitely recommend to anyone who love onsens.

Absolutely wonderful. The traditional facilities were all that I had hoped for. The food was delicious and exquisitely presented. The owners were so kind and accommodating with my poor Japanese. Temple prayers and a meditative divinity tracing experience made my whole stay perfect.
Experience culture authentically with a stay at this traditional Japanese-style accommodation. Sleep on the floor (on a futon roll) in a room furnished with tatami flooring and sliding doors. Guests can often expect access to a communal bath plus a complimentary Japanese garment called a yukata.
