We were looking for a place to rest up from our trip in Japan and this place was so perfect! Opening the sliders to the outdoors to hear the trickling stream that runs right through the property is surreal. The town seemed quiet and peaceful and the room was well appointed with Japanese tradition at every corner including yukatas and pajamas that can be worn to dinner there. The room was spacious with beamed ceilings, but the star of the show was the private onsen. We used it 3 times every day. It worked wonders on our sore muscles from a long trip of sight-seeing. The customer service here is also exceptional. I hope to stay here again.

The Japanese landlady was very kind and patient. Travelled with my family and two of my kids got the stomach bug and she was constantly asking how they were doing. She even prepared the bath so they can relax, they felt much better after that. She even made me use her washing machine when I asked her where the nearest laundrymat was. The traditional family room was large and very comfortable. There were rainy days and we just stayed in and it was so nice and comfortable. Location was convenient as very close to the train, a great ramen restaurant, convenient stores and Izakayas. :)
