Very very nice typical Japanese ryokan remotely located next to a temple : amazing setting! The dinners and breakfasts were outstanding. The first dinner was fully veggie (pilgrim requirement perhaps) and delicious, then they asked us if we eat fish and meat, then had also fish and meat dishes. The ryokan-keepers were so kind and helpful to help us locate the place. Because, it is very remote and GPS coordinates not that accurate.

This was our fourth trip to Japan and we've stayed in many ryokans. This is one of our favorites. The space we stayed at was huge. It was a two-story stand alone building. The seats looked out onto the courtyard with a pond and a lot of trees, which was very peaceful. I'm usually not the type to stay in my hotel/ryokan all day, but this place tempted me to do so due to the serenity of the courtyard. There were two private onsen that were easy to access due to the small number of guests that stay here. The food was fabulous. While walking around one morning I found a hiking trail that led up to castle ruins. The next morning I hiked up to the ruins and down the other side and came out near the Moss Land.

Interamente coperta dalla connessione WiFi gratuita, l'Onsen Guest House Aobato no Su sorge a Matsue, a pochi passi dal Tamatsukuri Onsen. Il parcheggio privato è gratuito. Kindly owner and staffs! Especially a wonderful show offered by owner! Really a surprise! Good onsen, Everything is clean, here you can have a really japan style experience.

Mihokan presenta un giardino, una sala comune, una terrazza e un bar a Mihonoseki. So close to the fishing harbour, the room I was assigned was facing it and it was a wonderful view to wake up to every morning there. The room is clean, the futon is very comfortable!

Posizionato a Matsue, a 5,4 km da Lago Shinji, Hotel Gyokusen mette a disposizione un giardino, un parcheggio privato gratuito e una sala comune. This was a luxurious treat and we all enjoyed it from the welcome by the general manager, the hot spring bath, the food, the room. One of our group had a massage which was very good and reasonably priced. Breakfast was an amazing buffet of Japanese and Western dishes. The hotel provided transport by shuttle bus to and from the hotel. Communications via booking.com worked well.

Situato a Matsue, a 11 km da Mizuki Shigeru Road, Fukumakan prevede un giardino, un parcheggio privato gratuito, una sala comune e una terrazza. Abbiamo gradito ogni momento del soggiorno a Mihonoseki. La nostra camera in stile tradizionale era accogliente, spaziosa e con splendida vista sulla baia. La locanda si trova proprio accanto all'importante tempio di Mihonoseki, dove ogni giorno si può assistere alle danze tradizionali. Consigliamo la colazione e la cena: favolose, con pesce freschissimo. Ci piacerebbe tornare e rimanere per qualche giorno.

Posizionato a Tsuwano, a 1,9 km da Santuario di Taikodani Inari e 1,7 km da Tsuwano Joushi, Noren Yado Meigetsu mette a disposizione un giardino e il WiFi gratuito in tutta la struttura, oltre a un... Questo è davvero un ryokan tipico. Il personale è stato gentile oltre ogni aspettativa, e usava uno strumento di traduzione simultanea per parlare con noi. La camera è quella tipica giapponese con il futon da mettere sul tatami. Deve piacere. La vasca di sotto in comune molto grande e confortevole (però l'acqua abbiamo dovuto cambiarla noi). La colazione tipica era buona e abbondante. Gli yukata che ti danno per usarli nell'hotel sono bellissimi: volevamo comprarli, ma non è stato possibile. Il bagno in camera unica pecca: piccolo e angusto.
