What a wonderful place! We booked a suite and it was so worth the money paid - huge room, comfortable bed, massive sofa (like a second bed), hinoki bathtub was the size of a small swimming pool and ofcourse the onsen on the balcony with the most breathtaking views of the Atami! We also had a fridge stocked with complementary drinks + welcome cookies every day! They also offer you a welcome drink at the tea salon located on Lvl 8! The dinner was delicious and beautifully presented; traditional breakfast was not far behind! Absolutely loved our stay and would love to stay here again someday!

Onyado Yuinosho provides a sauna and free private parking, and is within 45 km of Hida Minzoku Mura Folk Village and 46 km of Takayama Station. Super clean, spacious room and nice service! Amazing onsen with lovely traditional outfits!!!

L'Oyado Koto No Yume es troba a 2 minuts a peu de l'estació de Takayama i ofereix habitacions d'estil japonès amb un toc de color. This was an amazing place to stay. It was beautiful, very clean and in a great location just a short walk from the historic centre of Takayama. The staff were incredibly friendly and kind, and made us feel so at home. I can’t recommend it enough!

Located in a 100 year-old Registered Tangible Cultural Property, Ryokan Hostel K's House is located in Shizuoka, a 7-minute walk from JR Ito Train Station. L'edifici era espectacular i ben cuidat. A més, hi havia uns banys termals a dins. El personal ha sigut molt amable. Estava ben situat a prop de l'estació, la platja i alguns restaurants.

1.6 km from Takayama Station, Iroriyado Hidaya is a recently renovated property situated in Takayama and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. The staff were incredible. We felt like we were the only people in the place. Amazing service! The room and onsen were great and the breakfast was incredible. Overall soo very impressive.

Set less than 1 km from Shuzen-ji Temple, Oni no Sumika offers 5-star accommodation in Izu and features a garden. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. Best onsen experience of a life time! We travel quite a bit and this exceeded all expectations. Ask for Yamadasan and/or Kibesan. Rooms are spacious, amenities over and above and the Kaiseki is from local specialities and if I could give this a higher rating I would! Food, Service, Staff, cleanliness all an A+

Atami Sekaie is set in Atami, 2.6 km from Atami Sun Beach, 25 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station, as well as 36 km from Shuzen-ji Temple. The evening meal was a delicious curated seasonal multi-course menu, with tender wagyu beef as the highlight. The staff were so attentive even though we had very limited Japanese. And of course the room, onsen and view were amazing.

Set within 700 metres of Gero Station and 48 km of Takayama Station, 寅家 Japanese modern hotel offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Gero. Located along Gero onsen town with easy access to the main attractions. Staff was friendly and approachable. The hotel even has a private onsen for guests!!!

Set 10 km from Shuzen-ji Temple, Yumeguri no Yado Yoshiharu offers 5-star accommodation in Izunokuni and has a garden. Very friendly staff. The old lady who served us was very kind and nice. This is the best onsen hotel that we had in our 2 weeks Japan trip. Thank you!
