The accommodation was brilliant, clean and modern. We really enjoyed having the place as a base for exploring the beautiful island. It is a bit far out from the Island attractions such as Quiraing, Old man of Storr, fairy pools etc so be prepared to drive but we were quite happy to make the day trips.

Wonderful place. Absolutely stunning views and extremely quiet, a bit off the beaten track. Had everything we needed to make dinners together and have family time, and close enough to the various Skye attractions that we were able to make day trips.
The coal fireplace wasn’t a big deal, although we have experience with wood stoves so that helped. It would always smell a bit like coal in the living room after lighting which was the biggest drawback. The house was plenty warm in April.
Things we would have liked:
- Shampoo and so on for the shower
- More extra blankets. There were just enough for the people here and some were too short for taller folks, so one person slept with multiple socks on (feet uncovered).
- Replace the mattresses in the smaller bedroom (not the bunk room). One of them especially is very collapsed and not suitable for adults with back issues.
- Cooking oil and more spices and so on.
Really wonderful and unique place either way, I would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

Lovely, clean, well equipped and beautifully decorated. Perfect for a couple. Communication with the owner was easy, always responded VERY promptly and was very helpful. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others. Just minutes to the ferry.

Cosy wee place which had all the amenities we needed for our stay. Would recommend highly for any solo travellers or couples
Self-catering accommodations promise the freedom and privacy necessary for a well-earned break. From modern apartments and luxury villas, to beach huts and eco-lodges, the options are seemingly endless. Whether cooking in your kitchen, reading in the garden, or kicking back in front of the TV – you’ll feel right at home.
beautifully renovated and tastefully decorated, with all necessary comfort and fully equipped kitchen, fantastic king size bed and great bathrooms, precious terrace overlooking the sea, very close to ferry terminal
Great location, very welcoming host with a nice tour round when I arrived, the whole place is very well thought out with a good mix of approachable friendliness and privacy, the small details really made a difference from the kitchen equipment to the wood pile and the reading materials provided was a nice touch, the communications from the host before I arrived were also very helpful to help me know how to find the place and what to expect,
We had extremely bad weather and there isn't much to do around the location but the cabins are very cosy and the host is providing a variety of family games, there's also Freeview TV. Electric heating works perfect, kitchen is fully functional. Distilleries are fairly close, make sure you book in advance.
We got late to the hotel, at close hour of the kitchen. Still, they accepted to take orders for dinner (there are also no other options around), and accepted also unique requirements.
The rooms were very clean, and the bed was very comfortable (as opposed to other hotels we stayed in)
For us the location was perfect as we took the ferry the next day, which is located 2 minutes driving from the hotel.
