The instructions for getting the keys were very detailed, so we had no problem parking and finding the cabin. There's a large kitchen with everything you need. Although some previous reviews were not great, it was ideal for our needs – the place feels a bit like a Soviet grandma’s dacha, but it has everything necessary for cooking, showering, and sleeping. Great value for money.

    Location was great for what we needed. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty, with a choice of eggs. Check-in was quick and concise Plenty of parking. Room was comfortable though not luxurious. The view was amazing! Check-out was easy and relaxed. We asked if we could check-out about 20 minutes after the cut-off, to which the response was 'of course!' Made all the difference.....

    We stayed at the Schlafmeile Traunsee as a family and we were pleasantly suprised of the scenic location of the little village Ebensee. The hotel was easy to find with the car and the check-in was also pretty easy. There was no staff at the reception but we could pick up our keys from the counter. The room was comfy and spacious for 3 persons with 2 showers in the room! The breakfast was very nice and everything was available and tasty. The staff was friendly!

    The apartment itself is very comfortable and well-equipped. We especially liked the balcony overlooking the garden and the trees beyond, listening to the stream and river in the background. The house is looked after with passion and care. Warm welcome by Brigitte. We also enjoyed its location. Although we travelled by car, we also made use of the small village station “Steinkogl” that is within walking distance. Good train connections to and from starting points of hikes and e.g. to Linz. Sadly, we couldn’t stay longer!

    We loved everything! We took a double room, including a huge room and another smaller room. The owner of the apartment is lovely! Speaks English, friendly and very helpful. Great breakfast! The B&B is located in a small village between Gmuden and Hallstatt and was very convenient for hiking and returning in a car.
