The host is extremely nice and helpful. She went a long way to make us feel comfortable, and to provide Gluten Free breakfast to my kid that has an allergy. Nice bubbles bath tub in the room.

The hosts, the amenities, the location, what's not to like?! Breakfast was amazing, bikes were in good condition, the place has everything you need (and more) to cook, have a good time and enjoy the surroundings. I can't recommend this place enough. So many good things. 1) The place is sweet, homey, clean, cozy (burning woodfire when we arrived in the cold afternoon)--a historic old building with modern updates/renovation. Lots of room. Two floors. 2) All the best values of this unique place, Geel, are embodied in the beautiful host Sophie. Our meeting conversation with her was one of the highlights of a month of travels for me, maybe the best moment of the trip. Very kind hosting--hospitality in the most real and deep sense. Plus: Sophie's husband Paul is a legendary cyclist (hence the name, Velo --94 is the year he won the Cyclo-Cross World Championship)--so cyclists, check it out!
