Villas in Murud

We had an amazing 2-nights stay at Saffronstays Little Paradise at Agardanda, Murud. It is located in a quaint Konkan village and provides the best environment to unwind with a beautiful sea view. The hosts Jehangir and Fathima and their team were lovely. They took care of us so well. Fathima cooked some lovely food and it was just perfect! The wooden cabin room had a sea view and the garden with the swing was serene. Soaking in the sunset was our favourite activity here. I would surely recommend this stay for anyone who wishes to destress in a calm environment. Rooms:There are only three cottages in the stay. All at slight elevation from the beach, hence view of the beach is awesome. Room had a very good smart tv with wifi connection. Tea/coffee station was there. Water from RO filter was given in bottles, as much as we wanted. The hosts were such sweethearts. Safety:Its located near the Rajpuri creek, Jungle Jetty ferry just next to Indian Coastguard Station, Murud Janjira. There are no safety issues as such since the property is well located. Walkability:A tiny semi-private beach is across the road, the view of which is right there from your room. The rocks on the beach and the cement culverts are perfect places to sit and enjoy sunset. Food and drinks:Fathima cooks some amazing Indian food. We had their chicken curry, chicken biriyani,dal,roti,rice, sabji, pomfret fry, bread omlette, kaanda bajji, watermelon juice, chai, poha, upma etc. They do have Chinese and few continental options too.

Location and cleanliness is good. Host was very good and helpful.

Good stay with homely feeling......property located right in front of the beach

Excellent staff, tasty food, a good swimming pool, neat and clean bedrooms. Amit and team are super friendly and accommodative. Do NOT miss the surmai and pomfret fries, prawn koliwada, bhakri/amboli and aloo paratha! Great collection of books too! Do not miss a walk round the entire estate.... good sighting of monkeys, birds (including hornbills, herons, black-winged kites, buzzards) and butterflies!

Property caretakers were already there to welcome us. They explained the Do's & Don'ts very clearly. They took care of our privacy and made sure that we enjoy our stay. Food provided at the property was awesome. (Aunty couldn't believe that we are pure vegetarian though, hahaha) Caretakers were very polite, soft spoken and very kind. Now the property, uffffff.. what can I say!!! It was wholetogether different experience. It was a well maintained, very beautiful, spanish themed villa with very large rooms, lobby, garden etc. Beach is at walking distance. It was my one of the best decisions to stay at La casa maestro. Whoever is reading this, next time when you are in Kashid, please experience this beauty. Its totally worth. Cheers!!!

Amazing location and a great villa, with great food. The hosts were very welcoming and the service staff was exceptional. The property is very clean, with spacious rooms and a villa for 10-12 people. Also, the food prepared by Sushila, the chef was amazing, they agreed to provide us with some custom food as per the needs of the kids, which was quite nice. We also had access to kitchen gas to heat the food, prepare milk, etc.. They provide all the meals (really good food) as needed (lunch, evening snacks, tea coffee, dinner, and morning breakfast), hence you need not worry about food at all. The views from the villa are amazing surrounded by mountains and the view of the sea's backwaters. They have a garden with pool so you can have a nice sit around with tea coffe , also they have a open terrace to enjoy the views. The place can switch you off from the city's noise, is calm and pollution-free. Also, Kashid beach is 15- 20 mins from the villa (depending on traffic conditions). I would love to come back to this place again!

The caretaker was very helpful.

Not value for money. Host also cancelled my booking after I left the property and submitted that I didn't arrive on the property. Booking.com asked me to confirm if I was there or not.
