Great communication with owners. A little bit off the beat and track in the winter when it is dark and cold. But once you got your bearings, it wasnt such a problem. Good size family property. Great blue tooth speaker, for listening to music. Wood burner makes the place feel super cozy. It never felt cold at all in the property throughout the day or night.

    We made our own breakfast. Grindavik is a functonal fishing village, not blessed with resturants a plenty but most interesting to visit, I would spend more time here to see the operations. Its also close to the Blue Lagoon 0 about 10 mins away.

    Spacious and warm, perfect for our group of 5 (2 adults, 2 toddlers and a Nanna). Lovely clean and welcoming warmth about the apartment and a host that went above and beyond (brought us a blender to make smoothies for our son who was off his food during our stay). great communication and easy contact free check in. we self catered but proximity to restaurant (next door) was great! Nice area for exploring coast, geothermal area and Blue Lagoon, a welcome retreat from a day of travelling as well!
