Extremely serene and gentle town. Really easy to go for morning walks to local temples and shrines in Japanese countryside. Hosts were very accommodating and welcoming when our wifi didn't work. They provided fresh fruit, bread, milk and juice for the stay which we are pleasantly surprised about.

Perfect for families, groups, or couples who enjoy luxury and independence while traveling. Enjoy the space and privacy of these fully-furnished, free-standing mansions – travelers can cook, lounge, and explore at their own pace. Note that in Bali, a resort will also be called a villa.
Quaint property, refurbished Japanese house but with modern amenities. The quiet village it is situated in sells a unique mix of local food and handicrafts. Must try the river mushroom warabi mochi with vinegar just round the bend.
This property is a gem in a village gem.
It makes you feel you’re at home.
The design, the beautiful antique Japanese ceramics, the excellent selection of books and all the comfort of the kitchen made me, an Italian chef and Interior Designer, feeling in her own element.
