The property was very spacious. We were a group of 9 and there was more than enough room for all of us both inside the property and on the roof terrace.

The house is absolutely stunning. It’s located in the charming town of Senglea, which is small but full of character. With just a short 20-minute walk, you can easily cross the bridge and reach Birgu, and from there, take a boat to Valletta, which takes only a few minutes. There’s also a bus stop just 3 minutes from the house, where you can catch bus number 1 (Isla) that will take you to Valletta in about half an hour. In short, it’s easy to get to the “Three Cities,” as the locals call them. The neighborhood is peaceful and offers a beautiful view of the harbor and the clock tower on the opposite side. It’s close to two stunning Catholic churches and has a variety of small convenience stores nearby. As for the house, it’s exactly as shown in the pictures! When we arrived, we picked up the keys from a locker, and the place was spotless. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric stove, fridge, kettle, cooking utensils, some snacks, coffee, and sugar. The apartment also had plenty of towels, pillows, bed linens, an iron, and a hairdryer. A note: Malta uses British-style plugs, but don’t worry – the house provides special adapters, so you can charge your phone easily, no matter where you’re from. The only downside is the humidity in the house. But the host had thought ahead and made sure there was either air conditioning or a dehumidifier in every room to keep things comfortable. The main issue, however, was the bed. It’s a sofa bed that opens up, but it’s too hard and a bit narrow for two people. That’s the one thing I’d change about the accommodation. Overall, our stay at La Bambina was wonderful, and we’ve already recommended it to friends who are planning to visit Malta!

Meeting with lovely Host (Mr. Joseph), Home Location, Beautiful Streets, Interior of the home, History of the house. Everything related to location and house was amazing and exceeded our expectations.

We had a lovely stay. The apartment is charming, it is equipped with nearly everything. It's also well located: easy to get to, clean and quiet neighbourhood, close to many sights and especially to the city center.

Location was perfect, lots of options around the area as restaurants, grocery stores and even some nearby bars. The property is pretty big and has a great view on top, where you can even relax after a long day. The host will also explain all your doubts upon arrival and give you some advice if needed. I loved the bed as it was pretty comfy & the facilities in general.

We travelled to Malta to the European Junior Artistic Swimming Championship, which was organised in Cottonera Sport Center. Our apartment was very near to this Center (5 minutes by walk), but it was also easy to reach the boat service to Valletta. The property was very nice, well equipped and totally clean.

Place with a lot of space, nice terrace, huge kitchen, nice fridge. Its more like hostel style apartment with a lot of beds, but still very spaceful for 8-10 people. 3 showers, 4 toilets ... simple check-in, helpful host, always available. 10 min walk from Sliema ferry.

    Beautiful property. Comfortable rooms and very spacious. Great views from the top floor. The lift was a bonus and very much needed when everything was spread out over 4 levels.

    Great place in a wonderful location. The house is really charming and well equipped with a terrific view from the roof. A bus stop was around 4 minute walk away so it was really convenient for planning trips.

    Eric and Michael have managed to create an unique and cosy environment just out of the buzz, but with the city and great restaurants still within close (walking) range. We liked everything about the stay, from our room to the tasty breakfast (with view), to the advice we got on activities/food etc. We can highly recommend Senglea Suites if you are looking for a place with luxury, charm and good company from your hosts! A true gem!!

    Senglea still operates as a traditional Maltese village, and it is breathtaking to see the community part of the hotel operations. the standout has been Sleeping surrounded by the stunning and traditional limestone architecture.
