it was a very quiet area 7 km away from the start of the grand canyon hike. it felt like in the desert. the food was good and varied. too much of European options for my taste, we don't come to Oman to eat pasta!

Despite our late arrival at midnight, he was quick to respond to our messages and calls, ensuring we had no trouble finding our way. What truly stood out was his dedication—he personally came to the hotel to hand over the keys, making us feel welcomed and at ease right from the start. The property itself had excellent amenities, with the swimming pool being a highlight of our stay. Its location was also very convenient, as it was close to the city, with restaurants and grocery stores easily accessible—just a 2-minute drive away.

This is a very pleasant place to stay. There is a large gated outdoor space; it was very pleasant to sit and read or chat. The location is surprisingly rural, considering that it is only a few minutes from the restaurants and shops of Al Hamra. We did not meet our host, but he was very polite and responsive. We felt welcomed.

Very helpful welcome! Our car broke down and they did everything they could to help us. we requested a dinner which was delicious ! Very close to the balcony walk! Nice coffee shop 2 cafe just around the corner. There is a kitchen available on the property as well.

The summit house is just magical , the location is really nice , very calm , we enjoyed the sunset on the bench with the view of beautiful mountains, just in front of the property. The house is well equipped with everything, if you need something you can just ask the owner who’s super kind , he speaks a bit of English but his cousins helps with all communication efficiently . We ask them to prepare us a dinner and breakfast which was really nice and tasty . There a bbq but also a kitchen if you want to cook . The house is clean and comfortable. We truly recommend this place ! We have leaved in oman for few years and we know several places , this one thick a lot of good boxes !

Absolutely fabulous experience, very very kind host who went with us to Balcony walk, to hike to see sunset (and this free of charge). The guest house itself is in the very beginning of the balcony walk, so couldn’t be more convenient. View from the room to the canyon is breathtaking and food was delicious

Location is very good. Great sunsets. Right at the start of the walk. Spacious rooms. TV WiFi, washing machine was very useful after a week of travelling. It was Ramadan so very useful to be able to make breakfast yourself. private garden with wall all the way round to keep the goats out. Large kitchen.
