Morgan is a super friendly guy, interesting to chat with, and very attentive to anything you might need.

This was one of the most amazing vacation experiences of my entire life. The property is incredibly beautiful. It is very secluded so you can just experience nature at it's best. The house is fantastic. It has hot water for the shower!!! That is a clincher for me. The host was more than helpful and gave me so much information I couldn't remember it all. The waterfall near the property is enchanting. I can imagine living here and writing the great american novel. This is one of those places where those things happen. LOL

Sunset Serenata is a beautiful home set in paradise! The home has amazing views of the countryside, and we absolutely loved being able to take a hot bath on the balcony. We loved all the amazing bird visitors we saw!

Also very clean which was important to me since this was my first stay in a more remote location. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly! We loved our stay and wish we could have stayed longer! Extremely peaceful and quiet and serene. We wished we could have stayed longer.

We had a wonderful stay in refugio de playa in September 2024. The villa is modern and clean with air conditioning among palm trees with easy access to a private beach with a day bed, comfortable chairs and hammocks. The area has a lot to offer from the tayrona national park to stunning waterfalls but its worth hiring a car. The hosts went out of their way to make our stay memorable, providing a blow up swimming pool, swing, and many toys for our two year old and helping us plan activities - even calling on relatives to provide us with a place to stay during our day trip to tayrona.

Location was great, the beach basically comes into the garden of the property, and you can walk out on to the main Mendihuaca beach - and walk along to lots of lovely cafe's and restaurants. The beach has a nice laid back backpacker feel to it. The property feels lovely and quiet and peaceful and has it's own pool and pretty garden. The howler monkeys visited the garden several times. We stayed with our two young boys and they loved the pool and swimming in the sea (you have to walk a bit further down for a safe swimming spot). The property has a rustic beach house feel to it.
