The property is very clean, the beds very comfortable, the Wi-Fi works excellently. The interior decoration is very good style (if I am not mistaken, many decorations are produced by Rodrigo and his wife). The house, is located slightly outside the center of the village at the edge of the jungle: at night, the sounds of nature are fantastic! Special mention goes to Rodrigo, his wife and Arturo, our hiking guide. Great people, extremely kind and helpful. Such friendliness is a rare commodity these days! I highly recommend the proposed tours, Arturo is extremely knowledgeable and will make you experience unique moments!

The combination of a private pool surrounded by lush jungle while being just minutes away from some of the most breathtaking beaches on Costa Rica’s Caribbean coast is unbeatable. We traveled with my 94-year-old grandpa, and he loved the convenience of having a pool right outside without needing to walk far. The villa’s kitchen is fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals, and the pool is cleaned daily, ensuring a pristine and refreshing experience. The peaceful atmosphere, the sound of monkeys in the trees, and the sight of parrots flying by made the stay even more magical. Lomas del Caribe truly offers the perfect balance of comfort and nature!

Staff was amazing, truly wanted to make us comfortable. One of the big reasons we went with this hotel was the availability of the free bikes- which unfortunately kept breaking down. But they went out of their way to fix them for us. We also appreciate the do it-yourself laundry available, and the clean pool to cool off in, during the late afternoon when it’s really hot. The air conditioning worked really well and the location is great; as it is not in the middle of the downtown hustle and bustle. Very close to the national park - we biked there three times! Nice restaurant - Reggae’s - very close. Easy access to stretch of black sand beach that was not full of tourists. We spotted all kinds of tropical birds in the property and a sloth right across the street.

We chose Casa del Delfines for its great location and the fabulous view of the water. It's amazing that you are right on the main street yet you close the gate to the street and the busyness of Tortuguero is forgotten. We enjoyed preparing our own food in the well equipped and open air kitchen and enjoyed dining or relaxing while overlooking the water. We loved watching the boats and the birds on the river. The bedrooms are air conditioned and comfortable. The host, Rodrigo, was wonderful in always making sure we had everything we needed for a great time in Tortuguero. He arranged guided trips and his guides are very welled informed and native to the community. Let Rodrigo arrange your tours as he will make everything catered to your interests. Restaurants and cafes are plentiful and the grocery store is right across the street if you choose to cook your own meals. A wonderful place for an extended stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our ten days at Casa los Delfines. We didn't want to leave, and we look forward to returning again.
