The hut is super nicely decorated, has everything you need and more, including some snacks provided as a nice touch. Easy to find with the owner’s directions, you feel like you are completely alone in the nature with a beautiful view, except for some cute sheep grazing around in the morning when you wake up! Just lovely. Thank you for the nice stay.

Melfort Village is set in a lochside location, 24 km from Oban. Furnace is 23 km away.

All units have outdoor seating areas with barbecue. Pets are welcome at Melfort Village for a small charge. Some units have open fires or wood burners. We enjoyed everything, the village, the cottage, the welcome we received from all staff, the nice surroundings, the peace of the place. The cottage is super nice, we felt at home. The area is beautiful, we enjoyed every single minute of our 3 nights stay. The pool is also very nice and it adds to the overall experience, as we didn't find it easy to book a place with a swimming pool. In summer it must be gorgeous too, as there is a tennis court too. We rented the bikes as well, and we loved biking next to the loch. Stay there, you will not be disappointed, if you are looking for a relaxation, far from the crowds, while enjoying full and cozy comfort.

Around 13 miles from Oban, the luxurious Bonawe House Holiday Cottages offers apartment and cottage accomodation in the Scottish Highlands. On the edge of the village of Taynuilt, between Loch Etive and Ben Cruachan, this property has free Wi-Fi and parking. Absolutely a highlight. Quirky (in a good way) comfortable accomodation in a beautiful location, scenery to die for! Apartment comfortable and spacious. Will definitely recommend 100%

Cologin’s chalets, lodges and private houses offer attractive self-catering accommodation in the Highlands, less than 3 miles from Oban on Scotland’s west coast. Surrounded by the green hills of picturesque Lerags Glen, there is free parking and a country pub on site. We absolutely loved staying here. The cabin was comfortable, it was wasy to find with the instructions provided and the area is just magnificent. We look forward to returning one day, as our only regret is being here for only two nights.

The apartment is very well laid out, spacious, and incredibly comfortable — we truly felt at home. It was such a shame we only stayed one night. This place is perfect if you’re heading from Edinburgh to the Isle of Skye. The host was very kind and attentive throughout our stay. We definitely recommend this accommodation — it’s well worth it!
