Quiet location. Very clean. Good beds and bedding. Couldn’t think of anything missing from this house. Maybe a dishcloth 😄 Ideal for longer stays. Very good for families, spacious front yard and fab playgroung almost next door. Short walk to the main street and the Tower. Just loved it!

Offering garden views, Wee Highland Hideaway Hut is an accommodation set in Dalmally, 36 km from Dunstaffnage Castle and 39 km from Corran Halls. This little cabin is just perfect. The moment you step in it feels like home. Great view towards the mountains. It has all amenities you need, glasses, mugs, plates, pans etc. Libby just cleaned the place when we arrived, it was impeccable. Bed was comfortable, hot water was really hot.

Melfort Village is set in a lochside location, 24 km from Oban. Furnace is 23 km away. The units include a dining/seating area with a satellite flat-screen TV. We enjoyed everything, the village, the cottage, the welcome we received from all staff, the nice surroundings, the peace of the place. The cottage is super nice, we felt at home. The area is beautiful, we enjoyed every single minute of our 3 nights stay. The pool is also very nice and it adds to the overall experience, as we didn't find it easy to book a place with a swimming pool. In summer it must be gorgeous too, as there is a tennis court too. We rented the bikes as well, and we loved biking next to the loch. Stay there, you will not be disappointed, if you are looking for a relaxation, far from the crowds, while enjoying full and cozy comfort.

Around 13 miles from Oban, the luxurious Bonawe House Holiday Cottages offers apartment and cottage accomodation in the Scottish Highlands. It felt like coming home! We stayed at the Edwardian Wing and it was awesome. There was so much space and the rooms were lovely decorated. We were perfectly happy staying at Bonawe House. Thanks to Renate and Damon!! The whole place is just unique!

Located in Oban and only 1.9 km from Corran Halls, Craig Chat provides accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. - Excellent décor. It won't be entirely to everyone's taste (it wasn't 100% to mine) but it's a bold yet comfortable environment that feels luxurious. There's even a little gas fireplace for cosy evenings when it gets cold. - Kitchen is adequately stocked - if you need to do some serious cooking you might need to bring a few things from home, but it has all the basics and plenty of attractive crockery. There's an induction hob which still feels like magic to me, a Nespresso coffee maker, and a dishwasher. - Bedrooms are comfortable. King size bed was big enough for me and my partner (both ~5'10") to share without colliding. - Bathroom is fantastic. A large bath deep enough to properly submerge yourself in and a strong hot shower. - Lighting is very thoughtful and tasteful throughout the house - Bare essentials (toilet paper, dishwasher tablets) were plentifully supplied - Location is fantastic - around the back of Oban, there's a lovely wooded hill right behind the property for a nice walk, or it's a short walk both to the harbour and to the supermarkets. There's a driveway if you come by car like we did. Not used: "garden" area (mostly just gravel and a picnic bench), washing machine
