Our favourite stay in Sri Lanka! We were only there for 2 nights but the staff went above and beyond to make our stay there special. The food was amazing, and the cabana itself is so nice and comfortable, we cut our day short to make the most of being there. Highly recommend!!

The home stay was really comfortable and the owner was a super nice guy with a little daughter who even showed us their cute cat simba. He even cooked for us in the evening for a fair price and the food was really tasty. The owner speaks really good english and is very nice (brings you into the city or gives you tea if u want to). The home stay is like a little flat which even has a little kitchen and a chill area. Its not far away from the waterfall trail which is definitely a must see. All in all we were very happy and would recommend 100%.

Hilldale Retreat státar af sundlaugarútsýni og býður upp á gistirými með útsýnislaug, garði og sameiginlegri setustofu, í um 12 km fjarlægð frá stöðuvatninu Gregory Lake. It's a beautiful place to relax. The staff were kind, friendly and helpful. Because there's very few rooms you feel as if you have the whole place to yourself. The food was amazing especially with the view from the dining area. Loved using the sauna as well.

Featuring a spa bath and mountain view, La Grande Villa is located in the centre of Nuwara Eliya. This property offers access to a terrace, a pool table, free private parking and free WiFi. It was so English in its surrounding and with this beautiful hotel. So quaint and delightful. Supreme service as well.

Thuring's Holiday Bungalow er staðsett í Nuwara Eliya, 600 metra frá stöðuvatninu Gregory, og býður upp á grillaðstöðu og fjallaútsýni. Ókeypis einkabílastæði eru í boði á staðnum. The place is very clean and neat, we had fresh flowers in the room. The towels and bed linen are clean and feel nice and fresh. The location is up the hill, not close to the city centre, but very close to tea plantations and a nice 10 min road to Gregory lake. The owner is very kind and made sure to extend our stay when we requested, as well as arrange tuk-tuks whenever we needed one. Overall one of the best stays in Sri Lanka so far, highly reccommend.

This hotel exceeded our expectations .We’ve been treated like royalty. The service is of a 5 star hotel. And the best part is that it’s in the middle of nature. This is a 13 room boutique hotel in the middle of a tea plantation , nothing else contaminates the sights. I wouldn’t hesitate one second on choosing this hotel over any of the 5 star hotel in the centre of the town. The extra mileage is more than justified. As you go further to the west from Nuwara Eliya the landscape gets better and better, more unspoiled. The views are unbeatable and the building is a charming 130 years old planters bungalow recently rehabilitated that is spotless clean and in a perfect state of maintenance. The food is outstanding . We were on a half board basis which I strongly recommend , not that you have many other options but you don’t need them either because once in the hotel you don’t want to leave any more. We enjoyed all the activities offered . Please don’t miss the Horton Plains hike . It’s very easy and very gratifying. We saw deers in the wild and impressive views. You don’t need a guide if you don’t want to. We also walked around the property and through the tea plantation , magic landscape , swim on the warm swimming pool and visit the tea factory, a must. Also try to buy as much tea as you can at Somerset. It’s premium quality at very affordable prices compared to Europe . In addition, as our train was delayed they kindly offered us a late check out. I would strongly recommend this hotel if you are planning to come to Nuwara Eliya and you want luxury in the middle of nature.

The property is newly built, featuring elegant interiors, modern comforts, and stunning panoramic views. Every moment here was truly special, and we can’t wait to return!

LAZA villa er staðsett í Nuwara Eliya og býður upp á gistingu 6,4 km frá Gregory-vatni og 13 km frá Hakgala-grasagarðinum. Orlofshúsið er með fjalla- og garðútsýni og ókeypis WiFi. Highly recommended! A clean and calm environment, great value for money, and conveniently located near Eagle View Point. Will definitely visit again!
