I spent a magical few weeks at Fare Vahine Oviri in December 2024. The host (Johnny) and his wonderful parents (Nuie Nuie and Claude) immersed me in French Polynesian culture which has left a strong and lasting impression on me. The self contained facilities in the villa were very good. The villa is situated at the water's edge. It was so easy to engage in snorkelling and swimming. I was even invited to partake in a community group canoeing practice session which was memorable. The villa is situated approximately 13km from the centre of the town, in a quiet location near the botanical gardens. There are lots of additional activities available which can be arranged or advise sought by Johnny. Can't wait to return.

La Maison Du Voyage is a recently renovated holiday home in Tevaitoa, where guests can makes the most of its pool with a view, open-air bath and garden. We loved everything about our experience and stay with Isabella and Edward. They are wonderful hosts and their property is clean and in a fabulous location. You will need a car to travel to them. You should hire a car anyway to see the entire island, its gorgeous. We enjoyed conversing with the other guests during our stay and the breakfast of bread and fresh fruit was delightful. We highly recommend staying at La Maison Du Voyage and look forward to going back!

Being right on the lagoon was fantastic. It was great to have a washing machine. Teiva the manager went over and beyond to assist us with anything.

Jeff and Tepairu were the most amazing hosts, this accomodation is situated in a beautiful lagoon that we were lucky enough to swim in every night and every morning. Beautiful amenities, an easy six minute bike ride to the local store to fill up on essentials.

Fare Tetahora is set in Tevaitoa. This holiday home has a garden and free private parking. Offering free WiFi throughout the property, the non-smoking holiday home features an open-air bath. Absolutely fabulous location and accommodation. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating and met us with fresh leis to greet us. Sublime location, the first afternoon we just sat near the water and count leave to do anything else, but relax. Would definitely book this again!
