It’s a great place for a day or two whilst you visit San Jose or a do stop by the airport. Luis, the manager, is helpful and easy-going. Kitchen is well stocked and a comfortable place to cook and eat. Our room (8) was comfortable - one pillow was a little too big for comfort. There’s a good supermarket around the corner but just up the road after the American embassy on the right is a shopping complex with a bigger and cheaper supermarket. And a Bank de Costa Rica with free atm withdrawals.

We stayed in Casa del Café for one night the day we arrived in Costa Rica. We only spent the night and left early the following morning. The location a short drive away from the airport was perfect, the house is beautiful surrounded by a big garden, the hosts very attentive and friendly.

Very nice home stay in a great location for downtown, Chinatown and the bus station! Mayela is also a lovely host. She does not speak any English but that was not a problem for us.

This B&B near the airport was a perfect stay! The location was incredibly convenient for an early flight, and the room was clean and comfortable. The host was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home – we would definitely stay here again!
