United StatesWe LOVED this property and highly recommend it for any birders. There’s a tree line around the property where several species of birds were spotted by our son - most were lifers for him. The room was comfortable with AC and clean / comfy beds and bathrooms. The breakfast included a lesson in local fruits grown on the property and the chance to taste new ones - like Guapa. We were headed to an overnight tour at Corcovado National Park and this was a perfect place to stay for us.

United StatesI loved Encanto lodge! The hosts Edu and Sabrina are amazing and go out of their way to make your stay special - we felt more like family visiting than paying tourists! Food was home-cooked, delicious and fresh! The location is incredible - you're in the jungle and can take a row boat right from the property to go wildlife spotting on the estuary. Edu and Sabrina can also help with all the arrangements to visit Cano Island and Corcovado which made the whole stay so smooth and stress-free. I loved how remote the lodge is and that it only has a few cabins, making it also very private. Wondrous experience!

The meals cooked for dinner are delicious. We loved our cabin, with a terrace with spectacular views and outdoor bathroom. The nature is wonderful and there´s wildlife all over the place, from ara´s to tamandua´s... A great location too if you want to discover the peninsula with your car. Wade (host) picks you up by boat (at any time) and looks after his guests very attentively and has lots of exciting stories to tell. We were only here for one night and would have loved to stay longer in this magical, deserted place in the middle of the mangroves.
