Breakfast was OK however they had run out of items on our requested breakfast
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Beautiful converted barn and home - great location - big spacious room and the roll top bath was a real luxury - breakfast was tasty - nothing was to much trouble
A very quaint Inn, in Sandford Orcas. The room was nicely decorated and quiet. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic, a lot of choice and cooked specially to order.
Great location in a quiet area just off the main street through the town. All shops and sightseeing areas within the town easily reached on foot. Lovely hearing the Abbey bells!
Our room was very comfortable. We were tucked away on the second floor, so it was very quiet and private. All the hotel staff staff ‘clock-off’ at 9pm and the guests are left alone with a phone number and the run of the hotel, which was a little odd but also quite good fun!!
The room was large with a huge comfy bed.
The free standing bath was a touch of luxury.
The addition of a coffee maker was very welcome.
Homemade shortbread was a real treat.
Susie was a great host & breakfast was very enjoyable.
We were also able to use a well appointed gardenin which to enjoy a glass of wine.
Clare Cottage was in a great location for the Town, The Abbey & The Castle
