Set in Midleton and only 20 km from Fota Wildlife Park, Ballynona House offers accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking.

A lovely old country house, it is quaint and has its own character. The host is very friendly and accommodating. Didn’t have a cooked breakfast but just some toast and coffee (which was excellent). Great value for the short stay. I like this place; they are becoming few and far between.

Mary and Derry were lovely. The family room was very spacious. Great attention to detail, they noted the age of one of our kids and there was a paw patrol duvet cover on one of the beds, our son was very excited. Breakfast was basic but grand. Mary and Derry were very helpful and available for anything you needed.

Great location, very friendly staff and went out of their way to cook us an early breakfast, so that we could leave early to drive back to Dublin and catch our flight back home.

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Canaima House is a recently renovated bed and breakfast set in Ladysbridge, 27 km from Fota Wildlife Park.

The bedroom was lovely and the beds were very comfortable .and the owner was pleasant. What we didn’t like was the breakfast as we had to make own tea and coffee- wait to boil kettle, get milk from fridge etc and then we had to make our own toast. Our experience of B&B’s similar to this one was not a self service type of breakfast rather we were served the entire breakfast.

A beautiful bed and breakfast on our tour of Ireland. The manager was delightful, offering local recommendations and dishing up a perfect Irish breakfast. Having a free car spot was a bonus. Midleton is a quaint town with great food options and the nearby Jameson distillery, which is all in walking distance.

We stayed here for a wedding at Castlemartyre just down the road and a trip to Cork. It was a great location a short train journey from Cork city centre and a taxi ride to the wedding venue. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and accomodating helping us with the taxi's. The room was very spacious we had a twin ground floor room. It was also very clean and comfortable.

Rustic rural retreat with wilderness garden slightly off the beaten track. A lovely area for a stroll down quiet lanes with beautiful views across the countryside. Also only 30 mins to Cork city centre. Big old house with many stairs, nooks and crannies. Top-notch host who provided little extras as needed. Optional full Irish breakfast was great.
