A lovely old country house, it is quaint and has its own character. The host is very friendly and accommodating. Didn’t have a cooked breakfast but just some toast and coffee (which was excellent). Great value for the short stay. I like this place; they are becoming few and far between.

Mary and Derry were lovely. The family room was very spacious. Great attention to detail, they noted the age of one of our kids and there was a paw patrol duvet cover on one of the beds, our son was very excited. Breakfast was basic but grand. Mary and Derry were very helpful and available for anything you needed.

Great location, very friendly staff and went out of their way to cook us an early breakfast, so that we could leave early to drive back to Dublin and catch our flight back home.

The bedroom was lovely and the beds were very comfortable .and the owner was pleasant. What we didn’t like was the breakfast as we had to make own tea and coffee- wait to boil kettle, get milk from fridge etc and then we had to make our own toast. Our experience of B&B’s similar to this one was not a self service type of breakfast rather we were served the entire breakfast.

It was grand, we had to get up very early, so didn't get a full breakfast, but it was fine with us.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
A beautiful bed and breakfast on our tour of Ireland. The manager was delightful, offering local recommendations and dishing up a perfect Irish breakfast. Having a free car spot was a bonus. Midleton is a quaint town with great food options and the nearby Jameson distillery, which is all in walking distance.
We stayed here for a wedding at Castlemartyre just down the road and a trip to Cork. It was a great location a short train journey from Cork city centre and a taxi ride to the wedding venue. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and accomodating helping us with the taxi's. The room was very spacious we had a twin ground floor room. It was also very clean and comfortable.
Excellent rural location, with fantastic views of Cork Harbour and beautiful walks along same. All nearby points of interest very accessible. Fantastic shower, comfortable bed and excellent breakfast. Mary is definitely a great hostess, so friendly and helpful.
Rustic rural retreat with wilderness garden slightly off the beaten track. A lovely area for a stroll down quiet lanes with beautiful views across the countryside. Also only 30 mins to Cork city centre. Big old house with many stairs, nooks and crannies. Top-notch host who provided little extras as needed. Optional full Irish breakfast was great.
The area was very private and quiet which is very relaxing. The host was wonderful which added to the enjoyment of the stay. Would happily book this b&b again.
Excellent breakfast. Huge variety provided, everything delicious & homemade jams, brown bread, scones, brack. Best breakfast Ive ever had in any B & B. Mary a super host. Very quiet location.
Very nice owner, helpful and caring. Big window in the room, private bathroom, very comfortable bed, all supplies in the bathroom. There was a possibility of having tea or coffee. Super quiet and relaxing stay.
The hostess was warm and charming and made us feel very welcome. The place is a vintage and quaint house with a lot of personality. Everything was spotless clean.
