This road was trouble-free and the stopover in Maclear totally OK. The receptionist fumbled a bit, but was very charming and friendly. The room was spacious and well-equipped. The bed was comfortable. Dinner could be had on site and that was a good choice. Breakfast was also absolutely fine with plenty of choice. Down a long (ish) farm track off the main road, settled in a quiet and beautiful garden, this is the best place we have stayed so far on our trip. If you want 5 Star bling and marble bathrooms stay away.
