United KingdomIt is half way down the Leh - Manali Road, which for those driving is a pretty horrendous road journey with three mountains to ascend and descend on terrible roads so this place was a god send. I had lost my Jerry Can and arrived on fumes with no fuel for another 100km. The owner found me some as did some of the other biking group staying. The owner and staff were amazing.
Although it is a tent at 15000 feet up, the bedding provided kept me as snug as a bug and I slept really well despite the single (just) digit weather

Dorms are good with comfy beds and hot showers run 24 hours. You don't have to walk too much uphill as this hostel is located in the starting point of old manali. Hadimba temple and mall road were just a few meters from the hotel. The room had a really lovely view with a balcony and a lawn.. Where you can sit and enjoy the beautiful sunsets.
