Great stay. We brought out 2.5 year old and he loved it. Short drive from the pickup point to the camp. Good food but no fresh coffee was disappointing. Passport check before dinner was quite strange, but staff were very friendly overall.

Featuring barbecue facilities, Private Bedouin Tent -ODPC features accommodations in Shāhiq. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking.

The authentic look and feel of this experience was incredible. The host and his family were so welcoming and made us feel like we really experienced the desert. Unlike large camps where you feel like you are in a mass resort type setting this was so authentic, and we couldn’t recommend it more.

Thousand Nights Camp is located in Shārqiyah. Some units are air conditioned and include a seating area with a flat-screen TV.The tented camp offers an outdoor pool.

I wanted to love it but tbh it seems to be a bit faded. TV - didn’t work (not a big deal but sometimes it’s nice to watch a bit); phone system - not connected to the front desk so you have to walk down for anything. Sunset setup? 50 usd each for 3 minute ride up the mountain, take photos in a Sandstorm and eat a few samosa with tea. F&B - mid. Need more than 3 Nespresso capsules? Good luck. As the website seems down as well and no one answered any emails it feels like someone purchased the property or just gave up. Not a terrible experience but far from luxury.

Hamoods place is one of the most outstanding places I've ever been to. He invites you to relax on the terasse, drink tea, and enjoy the desert. During the trips, you learn a lot about the life there. He shares his experiences, culture, and his personality with you. The sunset and sunrise are stunning, and the food is exceptional. I loved the time there, and I am so grateful for it! A recently renovated luxury tent, Infinity Camp offers accommodation in Bidiyah. This luxury tent features a shared lounge.

Everyone is SO KIND!! I really appreciated the thoughtfulness of the staff and loved the quiet and intimacy of a smaller camp (only 4 tents). It was so fun meeting people from all over the world at dinnertime and breakfast, and the campfire after dinner was amazing for sharing conversation over tea while stargazing. Everything was so comfy and clean - the bed was comfortable and I loved being able to shower underneath the stars! Finding the camp was easy enough and I had a wonderful time here. Definitely go dune bashing with Ibrahim! The food was so yummy and plentiful and the sunrises/sunsets cannot be missed. I’m so glad I chose this place to stay!!

The place of the camp in the dunes is amazing. 360 degrees view over the desert. Nice place for sunset and so quit, that you can just hear the wind and the sand. Lovely tents, with really big bed and much space in the room. Very traditional place to stay, with so much love of details. The food was always frech and cooked on an open fire. The stuff are nice and always helpful. A nice memorier to never forget!

The nigths are quiet, sunset and sunrise a unique experience and the dark nigths with lots stars. We will never forget this place and it will stay in our hearts

We had 2 tents for our party of 6. The tents were lovely with clean and comfortable beds and private bathrooms😁 Both breakfast and dinner was great. We did sunset camel trip which was well worth doing, and quad biking in the morning which the kids loved! Highly recommend this camp. Only 20 min into the desert, but it's in a great spot.

Loved everything about our stay in this desert camp. The drive there, the camp itself, the location, the buffet - it was a whole experience we will not forget. I was first not sure about the comfort of the “basic” sheikh tent but it was absolutely amazing!! We did not book any activity but instead went on a small walk along the dunes during sunset and it was just magical. According to the staff the pool of the private pool tents is heated, just in case this information helps anyone to decide.

Desert is magic, and this tented camp is amazing. It is the last one of the "line of tended camps" so no one drive as crazy in front of you. Tents are for four persons whit enought space for backpacks or suitcases. Bathroom is outside but with all facilities (be careful when you open water sink...at the begining it is boling). Camp offer a lot of things: camel drive, dune bashing, etc. Even a transport if you doesn't rent a 4WD.

An amazing experience in this camp owned by Sayid and his family. We had a wonderful welcome, kids enjoyed different activities as camel ride and sledding on the dunes. The camp is located high on the dunes, view and sunset are amazing. The tents have really comfortable beds. I would recommend this camp if you are looking for an authentic Omani desert experience. It was really hard to say goodbye.

Super cozy and cool place in the middle of the desert. The food was amazing and the tents were very spacious, nice and comfortable. I was happily surprised with the bathroom which was a proper bathroom, like with toilet and shower and all, it was great. The sunset tour is a must!
