We hAd our own fire pit to cook on out the back of our chalet which we really enjoyed and we had a great fire every evening after fun days hiking. Very much remind me of what parks' cabins were like growing up, in a good way. If you are looking for a basic but comfortable place to stay at a reasonable rate this is a good choice.
