Boasting a prime location in the heart of the beautiful Tamar Valley wine region, Tamar Valley Resort Grindelwald features charming chalets and a wealth of leisure activities.

The overall area is nice but it is definitely past its prime. There are a lot of cottages, a hotel, a restaurant, some play areas for the children, and a few boutiques. We stayed in a hotel room and that was a mistake. The carpet is good knows how old and everything just had an old smell. I had booked the room because our original plan got sidelined due to luggage delays. Luckily we just stayed one night.

Housed in a 19th century convent, Auldington offers peaceful boutique accommodations with high ceilings and historic design elements. It is a 10-minute walk from the city center.

I left early for the airport a 6.20am flight so no breakfast. I like the old world charm mixed with modern day utilities. Great location, I paid for a spa room. Lovely deep bath, nice and relax

The setting was lovely, the bistro was nice and warm with a big fire. The pool doesn’t close too early which is great, most of the staff were friendly.

The breakfasts were great, and having an affordable onsite restaurant was an asset. We enjoyed the mini-golf, and the kids loved the pool. The beds were comfortable, and the electric blankets were very welcome.

Clean, comfortable accommodation in a lovely quiet setting, thoughtfully set up with quality furnishings. Very comfortable bed, fabulous shower in stylish bathroom. Dog friendly, which was a real plus for us, and Anita the host is lovely and just across the yard.

The location and facilities of the this apartment were premium. The view from the lounge room and bathroom (gorgeous bath tub) were a stunning bush outlook. We had a BBQ which worked perfectly and they had everything we needed in the kitchen to do this properly. Directly next door to the Tamar Ridge Cellar door which was perfect for an afternoon tasting! The owner was also super responsive to all my questions in the lead up to our stay and also left us a little welcome note which was a nice touch!
