The room was not very clean. The floor needed a hoover and I felt the bathroom was unclean. There was a large black hair left in the bed sheets that I found just before going to sleep late at night.

The amenities such as the gym were really good and the rooms were a great size. The location is slightly out of the way but I feel that is reflected in the price. The reception staff were not very accommodating when I required a taxi in the morning when I was struggling to get one.

    A lovely pub and inn set in a stunning location. All the staff were incredibly attentive, polite and friendly. The room was comfortable and very clean. There were such nice little touches like the fresh milk for tea and coffee in the room, loaned wellies and brollies and locally sourced toiletries in the room. We ate in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Both meals were delicious. Would absolutely stay here again, we had no complains at all. 11 out of 10!

    Everything! A beautiful, quiet, cosy B&B, friendly hosts, lovely room with extra touches, homemade cakes on arrival, gorgeous cooked breakfast, nice pub for a meal next door with 10% off for staying here. Would definitely stay here again!

    The atmosphere of the pub is excellent and staff incredibly friendly. Nothing was too much trouble if we needed anything specific. We didn't expect 5 star luxury at the very reasonable price we paid, which meant we were not disappointed with anything. Breakfast was delicious especially the full English. Room/bed was very comfortable. . Perfectly placed for Chatsworth and surrounding villages/walks. Wonderful stay anyway.

    Lovely and friendly welcome from every member of staff we met. Could not be more helpful. Room had a nice feel and decoration. The bar and restaurant were really nicely designed and food was excellent. We were made to feel really at home and relaxed from start to finish.
