Wine safari was a great activity and the owner Tom is a true host! Restaurant and service were top-notch. Great focus on top quality food and drink. Huge variety of rooms. Lots of added value like donkeys, highland cows, dogs, horses, morning bread for sale, sauna and the loch in the area. Steam showers in the rooms were an unexpected luxury.
Built in 1854, this hotel was once the High School of Stirling. Less than 10 minutes’ walk from the city’s historic castle, it has an AA Rosette-awarded restaurant.

Fantastic location to visit Stirling castle. The hotel is halfway up the hill & only 1 minute away from the start of all the historical buildings on the way up to Stirling Castle, 5 minutes walk away.
All pubs & restaurants in the centre of town only 5 minutes walk downhill.
Great free car parking at the hotel.

Location is ideal for us and in a lovely quiet location.
These hotels offer something a little different in the way of design and usually sit in a trendy, urban part of town. More intimate than your average hotel, they offer high standards with a homely vibe.
Everything, the room was gorgeous, a lovely comfortable bed, a good shower. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent you should try their porridge. A short walk to the towns facilities. The scenery was stunning even when looking out of the bedroom window.
We loved the house, its interior design, the friendliness of the owners, their recommendations and the lovely and sunny beer garden… the breakfast was the best during our stay, fresh and delicious with a twist.
The property has so much character - really tasteful interior design - wish they could decorate my house! The owner was so accommodating as we arrived before check in and had to get ready for a wedding - he whizzed around and cleaned our room as a priority. The breakfast is so nice.
I loved staying in this well designed guest house, which I would definitely call a hotel rather than a guest house. There were some lovely surprising amenities available during my stay. Location is great although parking can be challenging at times. Host (Jan) is great, very welcoming, helpful and kind throughout my. Breakfast was gorgeous with good selection.
I would definitely stay again if I happen to be in the area.
We loved to stay in Ben A’an! I was impressed by the beautiful interior design with love for details (I even saw some umbrellas ins the hall)
The rooms where clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent (the best we had at our trip in Scotland).
Callum the owner was very friendly and helpful.
We where travelling with two little kids and he even borrowed us some toys and books for them.
This truly is a a stunning hotel in terms of location and the building is beautiful and historic. The hotel sits on a bank of a river and the gardens are gorgeous and serene.
The receptionist was lovely.
Fantastic little BnB on Callander highstreet. Exceptional care and attention has clearly went into the interior design of the place, it was a pleasure to spend some time there. Callum and Lyndsey were excellent hosts and the breakfasts were great.
