The Bears Paw never disappoints, rooms are always comfortable, clean and staff always helpful. Food is always good, the choice of drinks at the bar is excellent.

The 17th-century Grade I-listed Crewe Hall is set in extensive grounds in the Cheshire countryside, with historic Jacobean and modern architecture.

What a wonderful place to stay! The grounds and the historic building were a luxury and very memorable. It was a peaceful respite after a day of driving. The room and breakfast were lovely.

Gorgeous hotel rooms and restaurant. I booked last minute and had my single room upgraded to a much larger suite than I had been expecting- the Italian food was to die for, they delivered a pizza to my room as I wasn’t feeling up to eating in such a nice restaurant on my own. The breakfast the next morning that was included in the price was stunning, 10/10 stay and the staff were so lovely. Will definitely be returning if/when I need to!

Simply a lovely boutique hotel, quiet with plenty of parking. Big, clean, smart room. Tesco Express across the road. A couple of restaurants 5 minutes walk away, plus it is an easy walk into town. Fab garden out the back too.

The owner Sheila was a lovely friendly lady, and couldn't have been more helpful. The breakfast was so gorgeous, it would not have been any better in a 5 star restaurant. highly recommended to stay here. Loved seeing the goats out in the fields who came to the fence to take a look at us on arrival. Beautiful view of the countryside from the room too.

Lovely atmosphere. Very clean and comfortable. Happy, efficient staff who, without exception, were helpful and seemed proud of the hotel. Well appointed and equipped room and bathroom. Great attention to detail- for example the lighting in the dining room had been well designed to give just the right illumination.
