Built in 1857, this guest house started life as a Royal Bank of Scotland building.

Upgraded to four poster room at no extra cost. Bright airy room, comfy sofa and bed, good shower. Owner Donna set some plates and cutlery out for me, when I said I was popping out for a takeaway Chinese. Able to store back inside by main door. Central in Hawick but still quiet.

This hotel (B&B) is stunning. the host was lovely and made our quick stay very pleasant, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are really beautifully done, incredibly clean and lots of nice furnishings. I would 100% recommend staying here, I only wish we had longer.

Branxholme Castle (B&B) WOW - what a classy Scottish themed property!! From arrival to departure Carol & Brian made me feel very welcome. Originally booked for 3 night, but loved the place I extended my break an extra two nights. Room was large/ spacious and was of high end luxury from decor, furnishings, to the welcome tea/ coffee tray. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and there was a range of choices to choose from. I cannot wait to return again soon. What a gem of a place 💙
