The hotel is more of an experience than somewhere I would want to revisit. If you go open minded and know that you are in for a one-off bizarre hotel experience, you will love it! The rooms are excessively lavish (ok if you like mirrored ceilings!!), the description of Lawrence Llwellyn Bowen having decorated the rooms is a good one. The staff were really lovely and the restaurant was superb.

The building is beautiful. Parking was good. The facilities for dogs were excellent. Staff was polite and professional. The room was large. There were USB chargers. It was sufficiently quiet despite the hotel being in a noisy part of the town.
With a leisure centre and stylish restaurant, Novotel Reading Centre is just 2 minutes’ walk from Reading Railway Station. The modern hotel has a 24-hour front desk and a cosy lounge bar.

How Clean and will come in the hotel felt as soon as we walked in a bit difficulty parking in the car park, but that was just a blip simply wonderful
These hotels offer something a little different in the way of design and usually sit in a trendy, urban part of town. More intimate than your average hotel, they offer high standards with a homely vibe.
A lovely, idyllic and tranquil place, a real hidden gem!
We usually stay in hotels, but this B&B could be ranked between the 5 stars!
Sitting on our balcony overlooking the gardens gave us the feeling of being home away from home.
Our hostess made us feel so welcome, a lovely lady!
My wife forgot her favourite raincoat and the lady shipped it over for us to Holland.
Service with a smile from an unforgettable place!
This is a really lovely pub to stay at. The room was perfect - enough space and a mixture of olde pub charm and quirky disco design. Even though it was upstairs at a pub it was wonderfully quiet all three nights we were there. They had just introduced a new menu and we had the choice of delicious ‘gastro’ dishes or old favourites like fish n’ chips. Staff were really lovely and the continental brekky was finished with a fine cafe latte. Benson is a lovely village and easy to get to by Oxford Bus line. Would love to go back
The flat was very well designed and comfy. Very nice shower. Located right in centre of town next to restaurants bars and big Waitrose. Lovely little back yard to sit in as well.
lovely period features, traditional pub atmosphere with great rooms. super clean, great design features and comfortable bed. nice touches such as the local ale, miniature coffee pots and shortbread biscuits.
Friendly and informal greeting on arrival with very swift check in. Room was lovely, beautifully decorated and clean. Lovely boutique hotel style that I wasn't expecting. The evening meal in the bar was great and the service was excellent, as was the breakfast! Will be back for sure!
The location was amazing with great views of the river. The room was beautifully designed, immaculately clean and the decor was stunning.
Tim & Annie were great hosts.
The hotel/resort is in a nice location and interior design is very appealing. The bedroom was lovely, especially the bathroom and the bed was comfortable. The staff are fantastic, in particular Faye. There are some nice walks around the golf course and along the bridleway to Wallingford, where there are also a variety of restaurants.
Shirley the host was so welcoming. The hosts have a beautiful home and we were blown away by the decor and design of the home. Shirley made us a lovely breakfast and we had stunning views of the grounds as we enjoyed our meal. We will definitely be back.
