United StatesDavitt's had a lot to like and a bit to love. To start, the room was larger than expected for the price and was quite likely the largest room that I had in three weeks of traveling around Ireland. The bathroom/shower was clean and bright and totally functional. Breakfast was really nice and well presented with several good options and staff who were extremely helpful and friendly. Davitt's location in Kenmare is wonderful for being able to walk around the town, reach restaurants, pubs, and shops. Kenmare is tiny and Davitt's is central within that space.

The location is second to none with stunning views of Bantry base and just a short 10 minute stroll to the center of town with plenty of parking available at the B&B. The rooms were beautiful - Barbara has a great eye for design - and the beds are so comfy. As for the breakfast - I will dream of Barbara's home cooked ham forever.
