The hotel was just fantastic from start to finish! The staff were amazing and very friendly, the bedroom was one of the nicest I’ve ever stayed in! I loved the little brownies in the room upon check in and then the lovely gift of fresh soda bread upon checkout! The food in Fitz bar was delicious and the trad music was great! We had an amazing stay and can’t wait to return on our next trip home from Australia.
Situated in Newtown, 5 minutes’ drive from Ballyvaughan and Galway Bay, The Waters Country House boasts over 40 acres of farmland at the foot of the Burren Hills.

Great hosts/owner as always. Comfortable rooms in a secluded part of the Burren, quiet and peaceful. Great breakfast and a really chilled out atmosphere.
These hotels offer something a little different in the way of design and usually sit in a trendy, urban part of town. More intimate than your average hotel, they offer high standards with a homely vibe.
This is a lovely space. Very modern with all the comforts of home. We loved the design and found it quite spacious. This isn't a converted garage or anything, it's a purpose built living space.
Beautiful, clean and comfortable accommodation. Felt like home! There is a lovely private lounge to relax and enjoy the stunning views. Amazing and affordable breakfast which was presented beautifully each morning. Vincent gave great tips to explore the area. There is a well behaved and super cute dog too. Home is close to town with lovely food and a great vibe. Walking distance from Cliffs of Moher which was very handy. We highly recommend this accommodation.
well designed and appointed rooms with ensuite bathroom. good quality furnishings. lovely view out to the Cliffs of Moher.
excellent breakfast. very friendly and kind hosts. quiet as you’re out of Doolin but it’s convenient for everything.
We stayed here for two nights with our collie. Could not fault anything about our stay. Gorgeous decor, stunning views & an exceptional host! Lovely touches added to every aspect of our stay from cakes in the fridge on arrival to little easter chocolates!
It was so comfortable, beautifully designed and stunning views. All facilities were excellent and everyone had their own space. It was calm, peaceful and relaxing with plenty to do in nearby Doolin and Fanore beach. I had previously stayed in the yellow cottage which was also beautiful and seeing it brought back wonderful memories 💖
A lovely, modern, well-designed comfortable place. Great location in the village of Doolin. Cormac and Liz are very welcoming and laid back. Will definitely be back! Great value for money.
