Ayugiri Ayurveda Wellness Sigiriya offers an authentic Ayurvedic healing experience, enriched by Sri Lanka’s cultural heritage.

Our stay at Ayugiri Ayurveda Wellness Resort in Sigiriya was an incredibly rejuvenating and memorable experience. The resort is surrounded by lush, beautiful grounds, and we spent hours watching the playful monkeys, which were a delight to see. The environment itself was peaceful and tranquil, a perfect backdrop for our Ayurvedic journey. The staff were outstanding—every person we interacted with was attentive, kind, and genuinely caring. They treated us like royalty, ensuring we were well taken care of at all times. A particularly thoughtful touch was the fresh, refreshing drinks made for us by the bar men, which were perfect for the warm weather. We were also treated to a surprise breakfast in the tree house, which was an unforgettable experience, made even more magical by the beautiful setting and delicious food. We also enjoyed a fantastic evening on the lawn, where we had dinner while watching the Sri Lankan cultural show and enjoying the bonfire. It was a beautiful way to experience the local culture and a great addition to our stay. The Ayurvedic food was nourishing and, while it took me a day or two to adjust to the food and flavours, I felt fantastic after enjoying the meals. The only minor repetition was with some of the fruit, but the overall quality of the food was exceptional. During my brief period of being unwell, the doctor, nurses, and therapists were incredibly attentive and supportive. The Dr ensured I received the right care, offering advice, medication, and reassurance that I could reach out for help if needed. The therapists were wonderful, but it would have been even better to have a few more staff to offer a broader variety of techniques. Additionally, we would have appreciated more explanation about the powders and oils being applied during treatments, as understanding their benefits would have enhanced the experience.

The most beautiful villa we stayed in in Sri Lanka. Everything was perfect, clean, quality and comfortable. Really nice touches design with the lighting on the staircase to the balcony. Stunning gardens with herbs and spices (and the occasional snake). Huge portions of delicious meals. Very knowledgeable and friendly family - helped us to arrange our tuk tuks and were also happy to arrange any other activities if we required it

One of the most beautifully designed and located places we’ve stayed. Incredible. At first was sceptical of buffet style food, but the chefs are cooking fresh infront of you, with amazing results we loved it. Especially egg hoppers at breakfast! Seeing the monkeys and other wildlife also a highlight along with the stunning views.

Amazing boutique hotel with lovely rooms and incredible service. The breakfast was generous, authentic and delicious! The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful especially the manager who was always available to help and share interesting facts about Sri Lankan food! There were always staff cleaning the hotel and gardens and felt like a lot of care went into the surroundings. Would definitely em recommend staying here.

This place is unbelievable. Unlimited luxury, great design, superb service, attentive and helpful staff. And very affordable. Great sport facilities. Probably, one of the best hotel pool with a view to kill you can imagine. Their cabins in the jungle are huge and super comfy.

Incredible boutique hotel. The staff are lovely and very accommodating, organising tuk tuks and providing restaurant recommendations. The property itself is a stunning paradise. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The owner Raveen is very hospitable and even drove us all the way to Kandy!

Believe all of the positive reviews. Atha is a lovely, family run boutique hotel that offers exceptional value and a perfect base for exploring the area. Tharusha and his family provide the warmest of welcomes and everything feels very personal - from the airport pick-up to the expert advice on what to see and do. The service and hospitality are truly exceptional. The design of the hotel is lovely, the food is great (the full Sri Lankan feast is a must), and every aspect of our 5 day stay was an absolute pleasure.
